I did something similar this morning
Deployed giants and healer, thought I was launching archers but sent my WB's
I thought no worries will send archers and goblins......WB's find the tesla and traps, I look up and my archers should have taken out air defence to protect healer to protect giants.....but she's already gone
1 star and only 20% of elixir no gold :(

I think my biggest problem is iPhone 4S, I need to liberate my iPad from the wife or buy an iPad mini just for clamming ;)

It isn't even making that ONE mistake. I cry, I recover. It's doing it over and over again.
After spending 50k or so finding a decent raid, I stop on a 300/300, heavily protected by a farmer, spikes, everything.

I'm frustrated, so I think, "sod it, easy win". My brain walks away. I dump everything, bung a few spells desperately to get in there. When all is done, I send my lovely goblins and they sod off sideways to take out the well placed but empty mines. All those big fat full storages sit there and laugh at me.

I say to myself "Doofus! Why? Why? Never assault a clever farmer".

Then the next day I do it all again. I literally have no hair left on my head.

And I'm lvl 82 with TH9. I suck.

I used daddy's tactics and just raided 450k gold and 300k of purple juice

My most common mistake is to drop spells accidentally, preferably in places no where near the enemy base it seems... And the worst part of it is that I normally use all my level 5 lightning spells when it happens. One would think that ONE miss-click should be enough, but nooo - it's an all or nothing kind of deal it seems. Happens about lnce every two or three days.

Second most common mistake is when I let my childish lust for mayhem get the better of me and drop my archers to early, and in to big numbers. I really hate seeing a good attack turn sour just because "that bloody mortar" got "lucky" with the very last shot...

Other than that I normally tend to avoid bases that look like my base, especially if it's closer to max, but if I am frustrated I sometimes succeed in persuading myself that my rather cheap army (50k or so) can take it. That wont be so bad. But it almost always is exactly that bad.

We all seem to make the same mistakes continuously .... I wonder why that is ?

Well, I don't want to speak for anyone else, but in my case it's because I am stupid I think haha. At least sometimes. And to really hammer it in, proving that I also never learn, I can mention that I make the exact same mistakes again, on my second account, that I did when my main base was TH 6. Some things have improved naturally, but I'm also more cocky this time around.

I have come back to the threads, as it has become so bad with my attacks in COC!! Fat finger hell, I would be better off using my big toe! I seem to waste my spells, my Pekka walks in like he been at a bar, my Archers act as though they are shooting at U.F.O'S and my Barbarians run around like they are the ones being attack. I have started searching for a class I can take, COC 101, but Google gives me nothing. I have considered going back to my comic book collecting but all the covers I look at have a COC toon on the cover. I have nightmares of barbarians taking my wife and giving her to a clan. To think I left Everquest for all of this.
