All my th8 war attacks failing lately

Hi all please help me lately all my th8s war attack are failing in wars consistently, i have tried changing all strategies like drags, mass hogs, govaho, govalo and goho (thats all i know) and all just fails.

i have maxed troops and mostly hits maxed bases earlier i was easily able to 3 star maxed bases with drags or mass hogs but now nothing seem to work, has something changed recently?

i have a th9 maxed too and i am able to 3 star other maxed th9s easily so i dont think i am lacking basic skill, also most of th8s in my clans are failing these days, are there any new strategies now for th8? or bases have gone up? what could be the problem, what do you suggest me?

Well, I Dont think any thing has changed !...😂😂😂😂

Mass dragged attack is one of the attacks that have a success rate of 85% in 3 staring a base.... It should have always worked for u In war !...

I think u lost ur practice ....!

Depends on what clans you're facing, most will run bad bases.
It might be that you are just having a bad patch

i think you have lost practice.you should practice with mass dragon.i am himself a th8 and i am getting 3 star from almost 3 months from the mass dragon attack.My army contains 10 dragons(lvl3),2 lightining spell(lvl5),1 rage(lvl5)and 5 max lvl ballons with haste spell in clan castle.

Have you tried GoBoDrag? Heather made a video about it, but the summary of it is that you are trying to use a golem + CC bowlers to kill 2 of the air defenses, zap-quake the one that you do not get to, and then use dragons to clean up the rest.

Loonion is a combo of loons and minions.

Stay with mass hogs. Still the best, it's easy and it's fun Practice it more, and use surgical/fish hogs. Your success rate will eventually be very high

I always had good luck with all drags and good hound in the cc, using lightning and quakes to take out 2 ad's.

I agree GoHo and Mass Hogs still the best most consistent 3 star strats for TH8.

Though I still found a good GoVaLo the most "fun" to execute.

More fun at TH9 with L6 loons though. :D

govaho is still a good attack. i used 2 golems, 5 wb, 8 wiz, 6 valks aand the rest hogs with max hogs in cc. 3 heals and poisons

Thinking attacking th8 from th9. Still had good luck with drags at th8 - just no hound. Lol

you shall do sketching before attacking , mass hogs work fine you just have to find the path ryt , dragons may be largely preferred in war bcz of survival rate , but its unpredictable, with all air defense at centre and a placement well can easily kill your drags and loons. I do split hog attack with heal (howilo), dragons got kinda boring.

Dragons are the most reliable form of attack i have found at th8, although i typically use a slight hybrid

8 drags, 6 loons, 1 giant, 2barb, 3 archer
2 lightnign 1 rage + eq

CC - loons + haste

use barb if you can to pull cc (giant if you need him)
archer pull to corner where you want drags to go in

While you are waiting on dragon to get to corner, drop lightning + eq on one of the ads. Make sure you dont come in against the sweeper!

if you were able to use barb, you can drop the giant to walk in and distract the dragon while you drop 3-4 dragons around him. (You can usually kill him with 4 before giant dies so no dmg to your dragons form cc)

Rest of dragons should be spaced to the sides to funnel rest toward air def.

Now depending on the air def, you should use the CC + 4 ish of your loons to take out the other ad. I like to save 2 to target archer towers on dragons where needed. BK can also be used to distract archer towers on the far side as loons/dragons get close. For me this is way more effective than sacrificing him to clear some buildings early.

Use remaining archers/barb to target corner buildings! Too many dragon attacks end with 99% because of corner builder huts

yea agree with you drags still not working for me they r too unpredictable and not fun. mass hogs seem to be working again for me.

yea seems like that, i have started to do well again by mass hogs, though some good spring placements give me tough time but other than that its a success

If attacking a max th8 base, i always use 30 loons 25 minions 2 rage and 1 heal, everything has to be done surgically, I only failed my last attack because I didn't see the builder hut in the corner, that and i was paying too much attention to what my loons were doing and deployed cleanup a little late.

You need to make sure you make good use of the friendly challenges. Practice practice practice. Friendly challenges don't use anything but time, army is still there and you don't use anything else.

I use GoVaHo,GoVaLo,GoWiVa,GoHo,HGHB,And GoBoDrag.All of those strats{beside GoBoDrag} is covered by powerbang,and GoBoDrag is by heather{YouTube channel name:Clash Tutor}With those strats I usually get 6 packs every war,and you should try them for yourself
