The absolute BEST way to get DE is to be in the crystal league - lots of bases there with tons of DE. But considering your townhall level you'll have trouble getting up there.Quote:

Higher to trophy level the better for DE farming. As a th7 I carried 3 lightening spells all the time and when I saw 1k or more de I hit it with all thee spells. This way you can pick up de while gold farming. When looking specifically for DE, I picked off Town halls until I was around 1800 then looked for exposed storages. I maxed my BK, Minions, and Hog riders as a TH7

When I was TH7 I raided for DE in the 1700 -1900 range and never used lightning to get it. I always had more than enough DE and rarely got revenged for it because (I'm guessing) I didn't use lightning to get it. All of my troops (other than DE troops) were maxed including the heal and rage spells.
BTW: I'm TH8 now and rarely revenge anyone except those that use lightning on my DE. I will 3-star these people almost everytime. As a reference, on normal raids, once I get the loot I'm after, I quit the attack even if it means I only get 1 or 2 stars. I rarely 3-star anyone when farming because I don't want to.
Don't bother, it's a terrible way to get DE. You are also very likely to get revenged and lose a lot of your DE if you try it. I'll revenge you if you DE bolt mine. Even if I don't get as much, I'll smash your puny TH7 to pieces. ;)Quote:
