Ice cream needed on boat, no ice cream maker!

They want $42,000 for a new ice cream maker, I'm about 10k shy, of course I can buy that with like 400 diamonds, and then have to wait 2-3 days before its available for use, but the boat is leaving in 5 hours and they want 3 crates of ice cream, what do I do???
i keep checking the newsstand paper, no one is selling ice cream. This will be the first boat order I haven't been able to fill. For the first time, I'm ticked off, they keep pushing me to spend $$, and I'm only on level 30, already spent nearly $300.

There is no rule that says you have to accept every boat, you know! You can send them away before opening them.

You can either accept and flag all 3 ice cream crates for help, or if there are 4 you can send it away - given you can't open up 4 crates. You could trade on these forums (seeing as you've found them).

spending that amount of money when you don't want to is very silly.

this will happen with all new machines, the boat will ask for something you cannot possibly make as you either don't have it yet, it's not open yet or you can't possibly make enough if the item in that time frame it's the nature of the game!!! (Just wait till you get the jam machines - lol!!)

Breathe, brother/sister. We are all in the same boat with you - so to speak.

I constantly get orders for whatever that "next machine I can't afford yet" is. Either put the ice cream open for people to fill for you, or just cast the boat off without filling anything. If you already filled the other boxes, you can't cast it off and will have to wait and see if the public helps you out.

Add me in GC - if you're in time, I have 6 ice cream. If not, don't sweat it - the cows do not revolt if you blow a boat order :). Hmm, maybe I should take that idea to the suggest new feature forum - it would be funny :)

I keep having the same issue - I still haven't been able to buy the ice cream machine. However, I keep Tom so he can run around and find the stuff I can't make. When I'm not using him for that I have him go and get hot selling items like cheescake to sell in my shop so I can make $$$ to buy my ice cream maker!
