All leaders of the clan have this problem!

If any player make a new clan and after few years it clan upgraded to lvl 10 or 11 or 12 any! He do progress to build a strong clan any time he left by mistake or click leave button than he lost his clan high lvl ! Or any leader promote any coleader by mistake to leader so i want to tell you do a programme when any leader click on leave button or going to promote other coleader to leader than put a box to type "CONFIRM" just like when we switch another account!

Create a new base, L1 TH, unlock cc. Join your clan. When ever u (leader) need to leave the clan for a reason, make the new TH as leader.

It helps very much not to transfer lead by chance. We have to play smart if no solution is there for an issue.

I practice the same.

Remember, being a leader, if u leave clan suddenly without safeguarding lead, that's your negligence and no blame on SC.

You need to be careful while leaving.
OR
It's one of your clanmate which will be the leader , So he should give you back.

Speak for yourself, I am a leader of a clan and I dont have a problem as a title said. By the way, if you have had a mini account as I do and the mini account were promoted first in clan as coleader you would not be worried for leaving a clan. The leadership will go to the first oldiest coleader in clan. If there is no coleader than it would go to the oldiest elder in clan. If no elder is present than to the oldiest member in clan.

Yeah, it's a big flaw in the game. There should be at least a "do you want to assign a new leader?" Prompt

I was a leader for 2.5 years and I never had this problem. Even if I did this the co that got leader would transfer it back to me cause I don't make anyone Co that I wouldnt trust as a leader.
Maybe be a little more careful

1.) Each leader should have at least one mini in his clan that is co so he can leave his clan.

2.) Cos have been invented for clans that have multiple leaders (for example you make a clan with your wife). Cos should never be given to someone you dont trust 100%.
In my clan only my minis are co, some long time members are elder to handle recruiting (about 5 guys), the rest is just member.

3.) But yes it would not be a bad idea if the game forces you to promote a new leader. If you are the last one, the button should be named "delete clan".

at high lvl clans....You have trustable co leaders...They can return The rank to you

I think its a stupid leader that loses his clan. Sloppiness like that would suggest this person isnt fit to own the responsibilities that come with the job. Notice also that if folks arent willing to give it back then not everyone was very happy with the job they did as leader. Clearly they didnt foster a good culture if mutiny is going on. Maybe they should consider not being leader so they can relax and enjoy the more casual habits that they prefer.

But with that said, I dont see what the confirm would hurt. A good leader is not jumping all over the place anyhow so they will not encounter it that much.

This idea is good. Once i was in hurry and i hv leaved my lvl 3clan.but i was lucky on that day. My another account become the LEADER of the clan automatically. The of CONFIRM IS good and it should be there in coc

Seems a bit unnecessary to announce that it has no effect on you... If it would harm you, or hurt the game in general, then that definitely warrants mentioning. But just saying it doesn't effect you is not really a useful post for anyone.

I wouldn't mind seeing a feature to address this. If you needed it then it would help, and if you didn't need it then you wouldn't use it. Simple to implement too I bet.

Not sure about anyone else but I've never accidentally left a clan nor promoted someone.

If you leave or promote a co-leader by accident, you should be able to get leader back because the player you promoted to co-leader should be someone you trust so this won't happen in the first place and in general you should be careful with what you do.

It is when the OP says "All leaders"

My clan doesn't have this issue either.
Would it be useful to others that don't know/remember that they are the leader? Probably
