Beginner Forum??

Sorry, totally new to HD and this forum...is there are beginners' forum for basic advice and help with newbie Q's like:
1. my silo and barn constantly full..tried selling stuff off at roadside stall but it ain't selling..everything's stalled, backed up; I have milk, cream, cookies, breads, popcorn ready for market but no space in barn...I'm going nuts here...
2. don't know how to edit/reduce price or delete items in stall...
3. don't know how to place ad in newspaper
BTW I just up levelled to 10

Welcome to the forum car♥♥♥♥z! We love new people around here. Don't worry. You don't need a beginner's forum. :)We are more than happy to help you out here. With any questions you have.

1. There is a little green check mark above where you place item for sale...if it is checked, you are placing an ad, if not...then your items are only going to be seen by your friends and followers. You can check or uncheck depending on how you want to sell. Barn and silo being full is a frequent problem. Most of us still have stuffed barns even at higher levels. :p. The materials needed for the upgrades are sometimes hard to come by. There are various ways to get them outside of collecting them for work on your farm...you can find them in the paper...in friends or followers shops...and if all else fails you can join in on the trading thread here and trade some nice forumers for the materials you need.

2. When you tap on an item to sell...it appears on the box to your right. Underneath that box you see the default price with a - on one side and a + on the other. Tap those to change your prices however you want hem to be.

3. Was covered in my first paragraph...but just to repeat myself a little...it is the green check mark below the item and where you change the prices and above the place item for sale button...on the right hand side of your shop.

Woot woot on level 10! That's awesome! It just keeps getting better and better from there!

Woozle beat me to my secret weapon. The thread link to was my bible the first couple weeks and I go back frequently. Since "the little things" thread isn't stickie or linked to in the guide post at the top, I suggest subscribing to it so you can find it. I emailed it to myself but it has fallen to the bottom of my mailbox and someone suggested subscribing to threads that help you.

oh and add your GC ID to the sharing thread and also to your signature. The more friends you have the better

Pay close attention to the prices of items that sell quickly in the newspaper. Full price crops (except berries and fruit from trees) don't sell as quickly and if you are trying to empty out your shop you may need to adjust the price using the + and - sign to compete with other farms. Anything that you see for sale in a majority of the shops, like bacon, bacon/eggs, eggs, berry cake, chili popcorn and pumpkin pie will not sell nearly as quickly at full price than if you were to lower it by 10 coins or so. That said, berries, fruit, pies, ice cream, etc...will usually sell at any price. Having a full barn is something that plagues all of us, especially since bolts are rarely seen in the newspaper. It's a delicate balancing act for sure! My advice is to add a lot of friends in GC (game center), keep prices on your store items at a comparable level, and add slots to your machines using diamonds whenever possible. Good luck!
