About £50 I think - more than I should have but less than many people think when they see my base. Builders are well worth the cash when you're spending hours a day playing. I supplemented the DE for my initial hero purchases which I also don't regret. The other thing that was probably worth gemming was barracks - I hate raiding with a barracks upgrading and I raid CONSTANTLY!! :) I only did that a couple of times. Gemming gold and elixir is a mug's game and I've never done that.
Only $15 for builders. I think most people are either in the $5-20 or $750+ ranges

I've spent $40 for my builders and other miscellaneous upgrades, all free iTunes cards though :p

I live in Germany, switching back and forth between a GER and US account sucks, so spend the money on CoC.
Spent $100 because that was the best deal for gems.
Used it to buy 4th and 5th builder, rush barracks, rush DE drills, and only use the remaining gems when real-life (read: jobs or my kids) would leave me in a very vulnerable position in game. so i gem to finish something almost done or gem the last bit of resources so i can start building what i want. I had 14k gems, still have about 9k.
