Th9 Ground Attack Army

A th11 hitting a 9 with gowipe would probably get a 3...😞

This is an interesting question to me as I was asking the same question regarding Witch. I still don't understand Witch position as a TH9 specific Dark Troop. Dark Troops supposed to be an elite troop.
Every time we see a powerful TH9 ground army composition on YouTube, it has Bowlers as main attacking force. Bowlers is TH10 specific Dark Troops, of course it will makes TH9 army much stronger, even at limited number as CC troops. In my opinion, Witches supposed to be the strongest elite ground troops in TH9, which is failed to lived up my expectation. For clans that do not have access to TH10 troops, I can understand if they will asking the same question as OP did. Valks and Golem has been around since TH8, Hog Riders is strongest ground troops in TH7.
So, OP, if you ask about 'most elite ground attack strategies for TH9' without access to Bowlers, it supposed to be GoWiWi. Just try searching GoWiWi variant on YT and learn about what kind of base they they can use effectively.
Personally, I don't think I can use Wi variant to 3 starred a well designed Max TH9 base without involving Bowlers.

Hi, I'm currently in th 9 as well. I'm still pretty new to it all but then I believe you should experiment. Find what you like to use to attack with. Recently I found a way to use golems/ witch's/ valks together with some wizards to funnel/ kill cc troops. A lot of my clan mates like using air troops. But I've had my share of high 2 stars and 3 stars with grounds.

I take one golem ( lvl 4-5) in cc 12 valk 12 hog 4 wb wiz and arch u can try with 3 heal and eq or 3 heal and rage or 4 heals.

Hello...my 1st ever post on this forum!

I've gone back to using GoHo with bowlers in cc as my standard war army, as long as the CC is dead and the bowlers funnel its a pretty devastating attack. I'm sick of valks, they are so stupid.

Except the OP said without bowlers.

Laloon is a good strat once you get it down.
