Please tell us which league you are in at present?
I use GiWiBarch and sometimes Gibarch for d. e. farming. They are really cheap and can reach to the core of any th8. I use it in gold 1 and crystal 3.
GiWiBarch--
16 giants - lvl 5
15 wizards-lvl 5
20 barbs and 20 archers - lvl 5
10 wall breakers-lvl 4 or lvl 5(lvl 5 preferred)
cc-6 wizards atleast lvl 5/pekka(wizards preferred)
spells--2 healing spells, 1 rage spell, 1 poison and any spell in cc.
barb king atleast lvl 5.(mine is 6,higher barb kings are awesome.. specially the lvl 10 king)
first kill cc troops, then drop all your giants+2 to 4 w. b. s to the side closest to d.e. storage and then deploy your barbs and archers in a line in order to clear outside buildings. do this really fast and use a healing spell on giants at the start if needed.
Then break the walls with wall breakers till the central/d. e. compartment is open. if this doesn't happen, don't panic. after this, deploy your barb king such that it goes to the centre and behind it all the wizards and cc wizards. drop a rage as soon as they reach the d. e. compartment. you may use the healing spells on only giants if u want, or 1 for giants and 1 for wizards. use the king's ability when his health is half. but remember, the ability and the rage spell don't work simultaneously. don't think that the king will become double raged with his ability and a rage spell.
by this strategy, you can get tonnes of d. e. by spending d. e. just for a poison spell and only 190,000 elixir(approx.). GiWiBarch is a strategy which can also assure you 2 stars against any th8. so u can use it for d. e. farming and not lose much trophies. that's it... sorry for long text😜

4-8 Wall breakers on ground attacks can be very helpful.
Use a balloon army. 15 minions and rest balloons with 3 rage. No hero or cc troops required. Spread out balloons from one side and rage them. Drop minions when defense r dead. This strategy will get u atleast 80% (without hero or cc troops) on any th8.
When I was th9 I used giants,arches and goblins...using that start I did my golem easily...so the combo is-
20 giants (level 5)
50 archers (level 5)
40 goblins (lvl 4 works well but lvl 5 would be better as they will slash the easily)
5 wbs
Cc-wiz or valks
Spells are
1 healing spell
1 rage
3 earthquakes and 4th in cc
Goblins and giants can easily reach the core whereas archers make funnel for goblins,in core giants tanks and goblins do their job,you could use wizards too but it will just increase the cost.give this start a try.have a nice day
