Right now im saving up on DE to get Archer Queen, but all I get is people just zapping it and not even putting troops down, which is extremly lazy and annoying.
Why not just have the Lighting Spell do 30✖(times) less damage to resoucses?
It would not remove the Lighting Spell from the game and people will still be able to get some DE from it, so there not taking 2,000 DE with 4 Lighting Spells.

Maybe not 30x less. More like 10x. Because if you lose 2000 dark elixir per lightning raid, that equates to 200 at only 10x. That's hardly any at all, forget about 30x. However, my take on the dark elixir zapping is it's a game, and it's a strategy within the game. And while it doesn't use any skill, does an all drag or gowipe take skill? Not usually, unless you're facing a maxed th9 or 10.
Only TH 7s use lightning spells to steal DE because they don't have a DE drill yet. The most effective way to prevent this is to go up in trophies. Above 1800 trophies is where you should be safe and there should be a lot of DE loots up there as well (2 birds, one stone). TH 7 up in that trophy range doesn't want to lose their trophies, so they won't use lightning and then ditch; They also risk getting revenged by higher TH that would most likely 3 star even the toughest TH 7.
p.s. it's really rare if TH 8+ people use lightning spell to steal DE, it would be easier to just destroy your base and take all the DE.
No this isnt a good idea, alot of ppl, I MEAN ALOT of ppl use this strategy to get resources. Even i use it. This is how alot ppl raid.

If someone is hitting you with four lightning spells they fail, period. That means they are at least town hall 9. A town hall 9 using DE lightning is a sad excuse for a Clash of Clans player. Good news is the chances of finding a good revenge on him is high - absolutely annihilate them on revenge.
As for the problem itself, it sucks; it really does. Every-time I get around 30k or more DE bolters come from everywhere for some cheap DE.
You suggestion to reduce it by 30x is crazy though. Even just a 2x reduction would substantially mitigate the problem. At worst I generally lose around 1,000de or less by lightning raiders [TH8 loot penalty doesn't hurt as much as TH9 & TH10 I understand].
If that was halved I think a lot of those lazy bolters would give up on the cheap tactic.
Lightning spell is a strategy... and the game requires strategy...

Why not just change the description of the de storage adding in that it was made to withstand the elements and make the damage done by the lightning spell on the de storage nil. The lightning will still damage everything else normally but causes zero damage to the de storage.
If people want de they should have to attack and take it. Let them use their lightning spells on the drills still at least. We can't completely take away these sorry excuse for clashers way of getting de or they may cry.
I lightening DE storages only on revenge attacks, that way they can'y revenge me back.
I've surplus elixir so using 4 spells is no biggie plus you get 1000+ dark elixir.
