How do you keep track of which of your friends are inactive?

Back in the good old days of Game Center, I used to get a rough idea of how long it had been since someone had opened HayDay. Now I wonder as I scroll through my friends list, "who is still actually playing?"

Has anyone got a fairly simple method they use?

I ponder this, as well. I recently deleted my followers, leaving only those I know still play. Only because they have bought items from my RSS. As far as deletion--painfully slow process. As far as friends, I keep them to a minimum, if I see one go idle--delete.

I don't worry about it any longer... always a pleasant surprise when I see them buy in my shop :)

I leave them too. Often they come back too as some have after the update.😀

It is indeed more challenging now, I used to delete per GameCenter activity.

Now though due to a combination of not having that feature and seeing some members who were on hiatus since return I don't worry about it as much anymore.

I feel bad knowing I removed someone who returned 6 or so months later. Nuha_Mia for example who I traded with way back; sorry!

I know lots of farmers want a last active date of farmers but the complaints have also been high with doing so. My idea is if a farmer becomes inactive for 30 days or more something whoever is their friend or follower gets a quick alert saying so and so hasn't been on their farm for the last 30 days. Simple.

IMO, it wastes our time going thru friends/followers that no longer play.

I take a screenshot of the farm and then check it in about a month. If it looks the same and no other activity then it's a deletion candidate.

i have original friends since HD was launched. They're the only friends I ever even visit. The friends & followers are too too much, for me. Takes way too long to visit them, only to find they no longer play. Easier to flip thru the DD as time allows.

Another way to see if they are still active is to see if they have downloaded the most recent update.
If you don't see the new unopened land on their farm, especially the land requiring permits you can be sure they haven't played since before the last update.

I'm sorry, but I don't think this works this time, Sparkly. I have an old follower who I know uninstalled HD absolutely ages ago. I can still see her farm, though, and the new land is there, including the decorations.

That seems to be different to some upgrades in the past, where the new land was marked out with its stone borders, but it was not populated with trees until the farmer logged on.

EDIT: from looking into this further, I've now found an old follower who has the previous land update showing with walls but no trees. Those areas are the first part that was opened across the road, and part of the main farm. To the right of each of those areas is the new land from the latest update. That shows the trees and the decorations.

Take a screenshot of your personal boat score list. (not possible for followers unless you follow/unfollow one by one. :/ )

And compare in a month if they gained more points.

Also anyone who is "in derby" is NOT inactive for at least couple of weeks. (if they are opted out it doesn't mean they are inactive)
