I have no foxes on my farm.
I used to have one, then two, but one left, then I used the edit function when it first came out and it got rid of my last fox forever. :(
I miss my two little foxes! I can't get them back. I am the foxless farm and I'm sad about that. I'd like SC to make a way for me to release a fox onto my farm. I've tried the tips on the forum and they have worked but it runs away again very soon. Hours later.
I am jealous of your foxes! VERY jealous.
I don't know what my secret to foxless farming is but I have my animal pens beside the road and lots of native trees on the farm, not much green space.
In fact, I think I'll dedicate the new farmland to becoming a fox sanctuary. Yes! Ok, that cheered me up a little.
Foxes get boxed in by artificial constructions, so don't put things linearly along road and especially next to the road on the south side.
I honestly hope this is is a facetious post. Why not toss the frogs out as well? Posts like this waste the HD mods time. Not a chance in heck of losing the foxes. (I'd bet my last dime though that you'll continue playing anyway')
How many foxes can there possibly be, OP? Unless you have one of those freaky farms where foxes appear by the dozen in the one spot... I've seen some crazy ones, but I think that's usally done on purpose by trapping them somehow.
Hints for a fox free farm:
Don't plant anything by the roadway or driveway
Put block walls up around your farm
Don't keep animal pens by roadway
Check the how to catch foxes thread and do the opposite of what it recommends. I get one everyone and again. Sometimes I fence them in then after a day or so release them. They leave in a hurry.
Part in bold is what I have done on mine and haven't seen a fox many months. Occasionally show up around the road and driveway but they leave as quick as they appear.
Or maybe we can pay Greg to hit them with a shovel to get rid of them. Would be better value than hiring him as a Lumberjack. :smirk:
