Can anyone explain how to properly execute gowipe. and if anyone can tell me a great th8 pushing strategy. pls and thank you.

Ehh gowipe is that viable anymore i would recommend you to go on youtube and search up Th8 pushing strats. But imo i would use dragloon or mass hogs. GL with your push

first deploy golems then deploy wallbreaker with wiz to clear defences and building when all side building r clear deploy pekka and more wiz's and spell at proper places

Look for a point on the base you want to enter.

Drop the golems in a way that they distract as many defenses as possible, but do not bunch them. I've noticed that TH8s drop the golems on the exact same spot and they go to the same wall, followed by a "Wow that was trash, what happened?!?" And it's due to improper funnel at the start.

Now here are the wizards, they are your funnel troops, they are protected by the golems behind to clear the outside buildings (trash buildings) to prevent the pekkas, king or whatever main troop you are planning to use as on the base. Some bring many wizards, I don't know why since they aren't the main army, more of an aid, but it's gowipe ofc. If you do decide to bring more wizards (like 20), have them as the cleaners on the outside of the base around the defenses that are being distracted by your other troops.

Wall breakers come in after your wizards have cleared the trash to allow your pekkas to go in the base. Make sure they aren't near a mortar's fire as that will ruin the opening of the wall. But the Golems should be taking fire from most to all defenses. Drop 2, all you really need unless there's a teslas that pops up and kills one, bring a max of 3 just in case. Try dropping them between the Golems. If you have 3 Golems by any chance, drop them by the middle most golem.

Now after you clear all, drop the main force being the lovely Lady Pekka, king and whatever you have in the cc that can aid the pekkas and king.

Spells are up to you, but typically what I see TH8s use are heal and rage, heal being near the end if the Pekka are starting to die out.

You should learn how to gowipe to get you a feel for the gowi portion, as it is a starter to many strategies at TH9, or you can jump straight to the other portions it's your choice. But I personally would not suggest Gowipe unless you were pushing as it's a lackluster strategy, having other strategies like Govaho outshine it in the TH8 war scene.

BbaBaba explained gowipe very well. What I'd like to add is that try to enter the base from the side of the cc. This will lure the defensive cc units. Golems will tank their attack and your wizards will kill them. This will ensure that your pekka's will not be interrupted and you'll easily get 2stars on even a th9 base. Also use quad quake to funnel your troops to the core or where the th is located. Use 2 heals. 1st on golems when getting hit by defensive cc troops and next on pekka when they enter the core. Gowipe is best for th8 pushers as spring traps or DGB's don't have much effect on golem and pekka. This is what I use -
2golem, 3pekka, 14wiz,3arch,3wb, 2 heal, 3 quakes, max pekka and quake in cc.
Anyway, practice much and develop your own strategy with which you are most comfortable. Gl with your trophy pushing.

So GoWiPe isn't a good 3 star strategy for war? What should I do if I want 3 star?

You may try another attacking strategy, but if you are facing a base whereas weak defenses and walls and had a bad layout then you may GoWiPe it in a brute force, Gowipe may be a 2 star strategy but also it can wreck non-max base with low level walls and get 3 star easily or by luck.

I'm TH9 and I use LavaLoon with a killsquad. Three stars most of the time against other TH9s.

I've used gowipe many times in war and against max th8's and got 3stars. The only problem with the strategy is that it is very slow. Pekka's have a hard time destroying all structures if the wizards die due to slow MS and AS of pekka. It's better to use dragloon, goho or govape to be sure. Gowipe is better used against th9's for a 2star due to the massive tanking ability of golem and pekka.
