I don't know that this is correct section for submitting this post.
My problem is that whenever I search clans of my friends or any clan I need, It gives a whole bunch of level 1 clans with 1-5 members only and they are totally inactive. SC should remove the inactive clans. So please add a feature that if any clan not warred for 3 months will be removed.
Do you realise that there are many active, successful clans who have never warred at all? Your suggestion would be extremely bad for them and thus is unlikely to be implemented.
If you use the advanced search you can select the level, etc, of the clan that you are searching for. Or just enter the clan tag which uniquely identifies the clan.
If you're looking for a friend's clan, get the clan tag from them. If you're looking for a clan in general, like Aspex says, make use of the advanced search options. Though I don't know why you'd be doing that when you can just hit "Find Clan" and see tons of active clans
How would SC know which clan is inactive? There are clans that don't go to wars.
They know when players are inactive because they restrict them in the farming searches. So a clan that has only inactive members could be flagged. I say flagged not removed because I dont think they should be removed. Someone paid for that thing no matter how they are or are not using it. But if flagged there can then be an option in search to exclude them.
Knowing friends clan tag is far better than knowing clan name. Whenever posdible go by tag.

If it got implemented, the timer for inactive clans stars from day 1 to day 90, this time is enough to notify those clans who have not warred for a long time. Those clan will have to do atleast one war in 90 days, the timer for the clan will be restarted. It is easy to know which clan are inactive or not by looking into clan members, if most members are not in league and have not warred for a long time.Quote:

That's enough to find the good clan
ExpertSAQ, I don't think that clans which are inactive should be banned or removed. There are tons of clans which do not do wars. Some clans can be also inactive for a time, then again after 4-6 months they can be active.
And for finding clans, your friend can give you his/her clan's tag. And if not, he/she can tell you clan filters, its enough.
I'm not sure why there are so many objections to OP's suggestion. It would be good to clean up some of the millions (literally) of clan corpses containing a single account.
OP confused things by describing activity in terms of wars. Better to do it in terms of logging in. The TOS say that SC can delete accounts that haven't logged in for a certain amount of time, although AFAIK in practice they don't. But they should apply it to clans. If none of the accounts in a clan has opened the game for 90 days, delete the clan record and render those accounts clanless. It's unlikely those players would ever log in to notice. And even if they did the clan is genuinely dead and they'd go to a new clan if they wanted to play again.
SC does infact remove inactive accounts and sometimes clans too, if all the accounts are gone; I'd think a Dr. would know that. (Nice title) :smirk: I had a few clans that I'd regularly search, before there were friends and bookmarks, from back when I was a noob with players that I knew. They went inactive and eventually the accounts and clans disappeared.Quote:

If the OP had simply propsed removing inactive clans that may be one thing but it did certainly include the war part, which was doubled down on, sooo yeah, really bad idea there.
Really If SC is not going to deactivate every account in a clan I see no reason to deactivate the clan too. Just my 2¢.
I do not think it would be fair to eliminate them since many of the inactive clans went through a stage where they played hard to raise the level and all that question

Yes, but it would be so much easier if your last search filters were remembered. The Number of members would be better defaulting at 5 than 1.Quote:
