Hi im town hall 8 along way from max but i was just wondering, is town hall 10 really as bad as people say it is? Because i have heard some people say its impossible to find anything above 100k, and are going to stop playing because it just isnt fun anymore. please answer

Hi, Im xXAIDANXx and i havent heard anything about lvl 10 town hall being bad at all. I dont have one but I would think that it couldnt be that bad.
Loot penalty kills you, Th9 was averaging just under a million gold an hour (with farming army), now averaging under 400K. that was in the 1400-1600 range now. The new defences are awesome but with upgrade times taking 2 weeks and upgrades costing 8 million, I will have some unemployed builders.
Not there, but two problems which are clearly visible when reading the facts.
1) Search cost increases to 1,000 gold per search. Ouch.
2) Loot penalty, you will never get a positive loot bonus again. Only negative ones.
2a) So a TH10 with full storage, which can at times be very hard to break will have 200k gold/elixir tops.
2b) If you find a TH8 with full storage, too bad you can only get 100k gold or elixir max.
One recent positive however is league bonuses got increased, TH10 bases are far more capable of climbing the league ladder so can at least get a little more of an injection there.
Despite that I would recommend anyone delay it for as long as possible. Wait until more players are TH9 or TH10 - which will happen in time. And have a lot of people kick up a storm about ludicrous search costs. 500 gold per search should be the new maximum at TH10 - and reduced down accordingly. SuperCell really need to change that. Paying far more to search for less is absurd logic.
If you're worried about loot at TH 10, your reached it prematurely.
