Getting to 5th builder, without gems!

Hey guys, this is tareyza from the clan bDTP.

A few months ago I got my 4th builders hut without a single gem purchase. I've been playing for many months now and I still have refused to spend gems on the game. Given, it has obviously placed some restrictions on how fast I can progress but I've chosen to not spent ANY money on gems.

Having said that... ever since the last update I've realized it may not be impossible to achieve the 5th builders hut on just achievements/clearing bushes. I'm a nearly maxed TH8 with 30-40% skull walls, rest crystal. I currently have approx 150 gems.

My question is, what would you all say is the fastest way to get to the 5th hut?

I was thinking to get to TH9 first, then once I've gotten the basic upgrades done, xbows, 4th WT, etc, I was thinking to make a run towards master III. Along with that, I'm nearing completion of Friends in Need III.

Crystal league (250 gems) + Masters league (1000 gems) + Friends in Need III (250 gems) + Current Gems (~150 gems) = ~1650 gems.

There aren't any other achievements I am extremely close to getting, but I was thinking about getting the xbow and inferno tower level II achievements.

Thoughts?

I don't know but if you get to Champions League you get 2000!

Unfortunately, I believe champions league will be quite a stretch to achieve without gems, I'm not even positive masters is achievable, at least not for a relatively recent Th9.

I think you've already know what to do. There isn't really anything to add. Just get those achievements and clear the bushes. Just go for it.

master is but it requires some patience because you need to have all spells and heroes with you on all raids. but just go for exposed townhalls, they are not in the open but close, they exist and you can find lots of them even in crystal 1

If you got time and patience to actually go to Masters, how about doing freemyapps or appbounty for free itunes cards?

for me, its more that i don't want to spent any money on supercell, even if it wasn't technically my money.

and ive tried stuff like freemyapps and feature points in the past, but it was too slow for me and boring, and CoC was just more fun than that! :p

I'm at crystal I and farming there, so I have my TH outside. I hope you get to snipe it ;)

Insteas of spending ur peecious time hours and hours of it. Stop being a lazy ♥♥♥ go work for a few hours 2-3 and then go buy a itunes gift card simple. This will only work if u live in a country with min wahe if at least 8 dollars.

I actually do have a part time job, but the point is that I don't want to spend any money on clash of clans based on principle.
