Yes, definitely keep upgrading your barn and silo. Mine are both 1900 and that is not large in comparison to many here. A significant group have barns and silos in excess of 5000. I will be continuing to upgrade mine for the foreseeable future.
My barn is overflowing right now at 5800 -- so yes, keep expanding!
you must upgrade :-)
thake a look at this list of products

You're gonna need to upgrade far more than that! I stopped for a while at around 300 as well, but have started upgrading again since. I'm at 1050 barn and 900 silo storage now. And I'm not gonna lie, it took a while to get even here. So don't look at the people with 5000 space barns and think you need to get there quickly, because in the vast majority of cases... Well you won't. Just keep working on it the way you have been doing, and keep playing. :)
If you're trying to save tools for both barn and silo upgrades at the same time, I'm going to advise you to upgrade them seperately for a while - less strain on your space for products that way!
This is good advice. It also may help if you are in a NH or have a friend that is willing to help out. You give your silo expansion materials to a friend that gives you their barn expansion. Then once you upgrade you swap and do the other. It helps if you both have nearly the same size barn/silo, to make it more fair.
If this isn't possible, consider upgrading your barn 2 times for each time you do your silo. Sell the other material for full price in your RSS. This will sell quick, and make you coin. So sell it for full price.
Take a look at the New to HayDay sub-forum. You will find advice there about how to get the expansion materials faster by "whetting" etc. Good luck.
i'm level 30 and my max barn storage are 225, and i rarely got a problem with it. is this normal?
I would say it's quite normal to not always run into problems at your level even with a smaller barn. In fact, that was my reason for not upgrading for a while: it worked fine for my playing style! But ideally you want to stay ahead of any issues that may occur, and that is why people are advised to keep upgrading much further than that.
At some point you're going to need many more products, as well as space for land expansion materials. And at that point you don't want like 50 spaces of your 225 barn storage JUST for land expansions, so you'll need more barn space sooner or later.
I at some point found that I wanted to save up some products in order to help people's boat crates, and that I wanted to have a lot of saws and axes. I was also trying to open my fishing spots. And you can't do all that with a 300 or so barn, so I needed up start upgrading again!
i will suggest you to never stop upgrading your barn and silo.As a hay day player i always feel that i need more space .After upgrading them u will again get that same feeling:)
