Hi. I am at about 1/2 way through Level 55. My next product (lollipop) does not unlock until Level 57.

So, I thought this might be a good time to try for my Turbo Trucker III award.

I read Post #3 of this thread but I still have some questions...

I am thinking about doing this on Saturday or Sunday (depending on my plans)

So...

1) When should I stop filling TO & BO and just start working on stockpiling all the items?

2) I know it says I should have 5 of each item... does that include the products from animals? (milk, eggs, etc) I'm especially thinking about the fish fillets and lobster tails.

3) Is five of each item really enough? (I know that this is in addition to all the items I need for the 9 truck orders on my board)

4) How much sugar/dairy products should I stock pile since so many TOs ask for them.

5) Is it possible to tear down an order after the first 9 and still make it in 30 minutes? Because what if I get one of those TOs where they ask for 15 brown sugar?

Ok, I think that's all I have for now.

Just FYI... I have around 120,000 coins right now and I plan on being thrifty from now until the day I decide to actually go for it.

Also, I plan on getting Tom for one day tomorrow and then hiring him for 5 days after that so I can use him to get me jams, bars, jewelry, lobster pizza, etc.

Ok.. I will just wait until someone replies.

We advise candidates to stock pile these items outside of machines, to conserve barn space. In addition, having a good board of orders to begin with is important, so we would suggest to trash those orders needing multiples, e.g. 5 carrot pies and 3 apples juices, again, to conserve your stock.

4) How much sugar/dairy products should I stock pile since so many TOs ask for them. As per the other items, we suggest having 5 additional spares, and additional stacking outside of machines. If you need some guidance on stacking, please let us know.

5) Is it possible to tear down an order after the first 9 and still make it in 30 minutes? Because what if I get one of those TOs where they ask for 15 brown sugars? No, we do not suggest candidates trashing the orders during the TT. If you get a TO asking for 15 brown sugars, your back up will either ask you to leave that order till the end, until we have no other choices, or provide you with the back up sugar.

awesome! I just got to lvl 29 :D although I was thinking about deleting my farm and starting over :/ my son just spent the 19 diamonds I managed to save up and sent the truck off with products I was saving for the boat, so I had to get help on those :/ Guess I should just keep trucking on and forget about the diamonds huh?

Thank you Lisa for the quick reply.

Just to clarify one thing, I planned on hiring Tom to help me the day before I run my TT3 to help me get items. I mean I could save him for one last run during my TT3 but that's all I could use him for since he's only available once every 2 hours.

Besides, I get Tom all the time so this is not a new thing for me.

I understand stockpiling items outside my machines. That means I just don't pick them up and let them sit there.

My sugar mill has 9 production slots, my dairy has 8 production slots (but I will probably increase it to 9 before the weekend), my popcorn has 5 production slots, my bakery has 5 production slots.

Right now my barn is at 650.

I do have SEM/BEM/LEM in my barn but I will give those to my mom and sister in the next day or two. We trade off helping each other upgrade and my turn just passed. Another reason I decided to do it now.

Right now I like what is on my Order Board. I have eight orders. So, I just need a 9th. (I just filled an order for 2 rings-which I had 8 of, so now I have 6 left-and didn't like the replacement order so I tore it down. Still have 7 minutes until the new one shows up._

Order #1 - 6 Chili Popcorn (currently have 4... which means I would want to have a total of 11 in my barn)

Order #2 - Empty

Order #3 - 2 Chili's, 2 Strawberries, 2 Strawberry Cakes

Order #4 - 2 Espresso, 2 Cream Cake, 2 Cherries

Order #5 - 2 Indigo, 2 Espresso (which means I would have to have a total of 9 in my barn), 2 Strawberry ice cream

Order #6 - 1 blackberry muffin, 1 carrot cake, 1 soy bean, 1 bacon pie

Order #7 - 1 Fish soup, 1 raspberry muffin, 1 apple jam (since I plan on getting Tom, having at least 6 on hand will not be a problem), 1 chocolate cake

Order #8 - 2 baked potato, 2 bread

Order #9 - 1 bacon pie (which means I would need at least 7 in my barn), 1 lobster pizza (that's what I call it), 1 chocolate ice cream

I think that is a good blend of items. Don't you?

OH NO!!!

try and let it go. At least the diamonds were spent on something. Not wasted on speeding up wheat growth lol.

lol for all I know he could've spent it speeding up crops... the thing he did right, though, was planting ALL my soybeans! Just so happens that is one of the orders on the next boat :D

I think Order 1 is a bit greedy, needing 6 chilli popcorn, which means you will need to have 11 in stock.. I would trash order 1, till something more reasonable comes up (like order 9) :o

Having dear Tom during the TT run, really isn't necessary, if you have the spare items ready. Your helper will be quicker than Tom :p

2 x 9 pumpkin (complete)
2 x 4 white sugar (I can handle no problem)

I should be sending it off soon, when I do, I will update on boat 3 items.

I'm on boat #11, and it is asking for:

3 x 2 carrot cakes
3 x 16 eggs
3 x 2 ice cream cones

I'm should be alright filling the carrot cakes and eggs crates. However, I need help with the ice cream cones, as my maker won't finish for another 11 hours. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you, the boat was just sent off.

Boat #12 (last one!) is asking for butter, bacon and vanilla ice cream. My luck with ice cream....

Currently, I have 10 butter and 10 bacon on storage. I will make some more overnight just in case. I will delay the boat arriving time for about 12 hours. I will post back once my boat arrives.

I will try to do the Wheat. I have 24 Bread, so I'm 16 short on the second crate. Unfortunately I have 0 Cherries.

Boat #5 will need: Cheese, White Sweaters, and Carrot Pies.
I have 3 Cheese, 0 White Sweaters, and 5 Carrot Pies.
I'll start 2 more Cheese, and another Carrot Pie, but I was dumb and started 2 blue sweaters on my loom to make room in my barn. It looks like I'll need more help, but I learned not to start things I might not need.
I'll dock the boat tomorrow morning around 11am central (about 14.5 hours if I'm counting right)

Ok, I will scrap that order and wait for something better. Maybe try to get one that asks for something like corn bread or even some wool products!

Once again.. I'm NOT getting Tom to help during the TT3 run.. but before hand. To help with the stockpiling.

Mostly for the jams and those lobster pizzas. I have my lobster pool upgraded to hold 2 lobsters at a time, but with the six hour waiting period all I am making at this point is the lobster soup.

I'm getting excited!

Hi I'm getting close to the 7h mark till my boat leaves and I estimate that my current production won't meet the deadline. Could I buy 2 roasted tomatoes from someone? Thanks!

Boat 2 update

hi, Im back with boat 2's requirements:
2 x 3 carrot pies ( only have 2 so I will need to buy 4)

2 x 6 creams (I filled 6 and would like to buy 5 more)

2 x 2 hamburgers (I need help with these too)

Leaves in 12h but I would like to send the ship of before bed and before you close!

Please advise on which to flag and I will buy the rest.

Hi! I didn't know it was so late so I just wanted to finish the shipment before I go to bed. I would like to buy 4 roasted tomatoes please and then I will send my ship off and provide the updates for boat 7 before I close my game for the night. Thank you for everyone's help so far!!!!

Ready to schedule TT3 run....

Dear Helpers,

After having done a TT2 run a few days ago, I am fully stocked back up and ready to do a TT3 run. I have produced the recommended quantities of each product, plus I've got extra dairy, plain popcorn, bread and carrot juice stacked up by the machines.

So, if possible I'd like to schedule a TT3 run 11.5 hours from now (18:00 GMT).

Prepping giggle

While prepping for my TTIII run today, my 4 yr old grand daughter wanted to help me. She likes feeding my animals, and planting crops (of course with my guidance), and she noticed my sheep ready. She said "Gma, they need to be scraped off" That made me laugh but then, after "scraping" them off, she said louder, "Gma Gma Gma, they're cold, they're shaking! Feed them!!"

Kids say the darndest things :)

Just wanted to share my precious moment, while enjoying Hay Day :)

This is a great thread, thanks for the good advice. I did my TT number 1 last night (yes, a lowly number 1 lol), but doing 20 orders looks very daunting!

I just wondered whether it was best to wait until I am a higher level to do the next (I'm 33)?

My current barn size is only 325, so it will obviously increase as I get higher. But do the order quantities increase too? Like, will I get asked for 5 pies instead of 1 within an order?

Also, while I am here, can I just ask whether there is a way to tell how many boats you have completed so far? When I click on my house to look at the challenges, it just says Captain 3 with 12 boats to fill but not how many I have done already.

Hi.

You should definitely not wait to do TT!! The higher the level the more products you have to produce, and yes, the more the trucks will ask for. The secret to getting around barn size issues is to stack outside your machines. Read post 3 for detailed instructions.

Your captain achievement should say X/X. For example 0/12 means you have completed no boats for your captain III. Or 2/6 means you have completed 2 boats for captain II. The captain achievements run consecutively so you can do 12 boats in a row and get all 3 captain achievements out of the way.

I know, I know, I'm here way earlier than I said I'd be, but I had a couple minutes so I went on Hay Day, so I did the boat. Pizza will need help, Cheesecake also will :( I will need extra cheese. I need to go so see you in 14 hours (this is definite this time as I cannot get wifi where I'll be)

PS was it as soon as I got Captain III that I got a 4x3 crates for every order instead of 3x3 or when I leveled up??

It was leveling up that got you more crates, now your boats can be 3 or 4 crates per item. Nice present, huh?? :D

Going for TT III

Hey folks

I am planning to go for TT III this evening. I have read the guidance here and am cooking up a storm to get my supplies up as per the guidance.

I have to say I am really struggling with the juices and the cakes to get 5 of each as the barn is full and managing
to get enough is a struggle. not sure I can get to 5 of each item , particularly the cakes, but will do my best.

All assistance greatly appreciated.

2. You have 5 excess stock after the first board order?

For juice & cake issue, do you know you can stack them outside machine? So you can have many more outside barn!!

my barn was 300 when I done my TT 3.

I have butter, bacon, and one of the crate of ice cream cover. I just need help with the other two crates. Thanks!

getting ready for the TT3 achieve...
soooo, it doesn't matter the capacity of my barn, once it is full, I can stock items at the machines? So, if I can't have 5 of everything in my barn, I can still have 5 of everything?! ok, this helps me to not freak out that my barn is full! lol I most likely won't get to the TT achieve until tomorrow at the earliest, because I'm building my juice press, which won't be ready until sometime in the early pre-dawn hours. Looking forward to finishing it up! lol :D
