Does anyone know whether or not activating a boat booster card will fill crates for a boat already in the dock? What I'd like to do for the first boat is let the boat come in, fill everything but 2 crates and then let the card fill those. Will it work?
Am I right in assuming the card doesn't necessarily fill the crates of the items you most need filled? Like if I have a boat with Bacon & Eggs and Duck Feathers, is it smart enough to fill the Duck Feathers or is it just random?

If you activate the booster whilst the boat is in the dock it will fill the crates
But will it fill the crate or crates if you have already partially filled the boat prior to activating the booster? I have 2 boat boosters that I plan on using and will test it out - when the boat task arrives :)Quote:

Thanks all. I can confirm it too. Here's what I did:
Filled everything but 2 grape juice crates. This includes having the global community fill some of the other crates by placing an ad with crates flagged. Then I activated the card and it filled the remaining two crates.
I'm hoping on the next one it is smart enough to know to fill the lobster tails but we shall see! (and I'll guess not)
Just an update. On the next boat I had Bacon Pies, Veggie Lasagna, and Lobster Tails. It picked Bacon Pies and Lobster Tails to fill, so it does appear to be somewhat random as to what it fills when it gets to pick, but it could have been worse!

Each boat wanted a product equal to the previous one.
Especially from crates that have not been filled automatically.
The first time I had four consecutive boats with raspberry jam.
The second time: blankets....
I'm unsure if I'm once again dare to use this booster ....

Im on a boat task in the derby so kinda committed to the next few boats. My next boat wants carrot cake, espresso and olives. With my luck the booster will fill 2 olive crates.
From what I've seen when given a full boat of choices to choose the default appears to fill the 2 left most crates one on the bottom row and one on the second to bottom row. so chance are at least 1 of the crates will be the crates you don't want to fill yourself. in the case I saw it filled the 16 bread box and it filled the 2 seafood pizza box. none of the cocoa.
Edit not always the bottom 2. daughter's next boat wanted tomato seafood pizza and pancakes. it chose tomato and seafood pizza to fill...left all the pancakes on the bottom row.
