Remove the Lightning Spell Completely

Taking out the mortars is part of the game and part of a stratigy u have to decide what u want to take out thats the skill needed good judgement so don't try to get it taken away just because you don't have multiple mortars and the ability to work without mortars

You can't deploy the rest of the ground troops, the cannons will get them and you'll have no one to pick up the loot before time runs out (Giants are sssslllloooooowwwww). So, ZAP! Finish it off with a lightning spell and unleash the beast.

Nice summary. 3 can be extended to moving from 48% or 49% to 50% to 'win' a battle as well. Very important when pushing for trophies.

Oh you were serious about taking out the lighting spell...awkward... the funniest thing about this is that no matter who much you will build your case, trust me, it just isn't going to happen... Lightning spell takes a lot of strategy by the way, it need troops to be effective unless used on a Dark Elixir storage, which...OH, they raised its health various times to make it so that the 200 de isn't worth the 100k gold you probably have to spend on it.

Oh and by the way, the jump spell is VERY useful when there is a big funnel into the spot you want to attack, and with a rage spell used on top of it it is deadly(well at least with the right composition).

4 rage spells will kill up base anyway if 4 lightning will too

You do realize that SuperCell is NEVER going to remove the lightning spell completely. I thought that it just wouldn't be the first one unlocked, but seriously.Think of bronze. A bunch of level one barbarians at who are raging, or being healed just to destroy a Town Hall 3,4,5 base? The base would be completely annihilated. I don't think thats a good idea. And what about jump spell? Who needs to jump over level one walls? Freeze level four defenses? If you think low level, the lightning spell is the only spell that wouldn't be overpowered. And you still have to UPGADE IT. I think your forgetting that it takes a million elixer to upgrade the lightning spell to level 4, and then eight hundred thousand elixer get just three, let alone FOUR, lightning spells. So, the people who have five level five lightning spells have worked for it, and if it was taken away, where would they're resources go? It would have been millions of resources, MILLIONS, down the drain. And it would all have been for a person whos complaining just because he gets 100% sometimes in defense. Big whoop! The answer is no. NO!

Town Hall 7 required. Get a second at 9 or 10. Lowers all lightning damage in a radius of 4, by 20/30/40/50%. Level 1&2 would be silver rods, and available at TH7, 3&4 at TH8 & TH9 would be gold.

Protection are would be a radius of 3 or 4. That would make it so you can only cover one building in any direction. The tower would be absorbing the extra damage and would die from 2 lightning spells of the appropriate level.

the lighting spell is aready weak enough don't need to add in an extra defense to make it even weaker by soaking up its damage

well supercell already lowered the lighting spell damage because people just destroyed de storages don't need to protecet it any more
