Town hall 8 farming

After I upgraded my town hall to lvl 9 I couldn't able to find opponent with good resources like 100k even with trophy count of 1150.(for more than 2weeks) .bcos of this I started to hate this game.i spent .5 m in searching for oppenent in 2 days
Is finding resources related to trophy count.?

The amount of loot is directly related to town hall level. If a th9 attacks a th7, he gets 50% less loot. But if a th7 attacks a th9, he gets 50% more loot.

Try raising your trophy level to 1400 or so, then you will find more th9-th10's with more loot.
