right now I have 10,000 dark elixir I want to get minions level 2 and barb king level 2 so I'm not sure if I should save up or get minions now ( extra info level 5 barbs archers and giants)

Barb king to level2 only takes 12 hours
I use bam often, which means a lvl 2 minion upgrade is what I'd go for. But if you never use minions, the barb king is the way to go.
It only depends on which you use more.
