For attacking purposes you're not a TH8 if you have all L4 troops and 180 army camp spots still. You've got TH7 farming abilities with worse loot options. I'd drop into Silver 1 and see if it's any better.Quote:

1. yes. gold III is fine for a normal TH8 army (200 troops, 10 wbs, archers/goblins/barbs). i was in gold II by the end of TH8.Quote:

3. really depends. if you're good on trophies, then raid collectors with a few troops. if it's the last attack of the night or you think you can reach all the storages, go all out on a potentially huge resource laden base.
- at TH8, i was regularly getting 200k+ in both gold and elixir for armies where i'd use 5-6 giants, 5-6 wbs, and about 120 total of a mix of barbs, gobs, and archers. i think i generally waited for around 10-15 minutes for full camps between attacks.
Using a constant building army really helps.
I use BAM which is 2 barracks of archers, 2 barracks of barbarians and a DE barrack of minions. It is always building and utilises 5 barracks, thus having a quicker training time :).

Here's what I'm going to do:
Max my army camps.
Get Level 5 Archers and Giants.
Look for bases that have 200k resources that are semi-hard to beat.
Do collector raids once in a while.
Farm in Gold League.

Im just th 6, but with some endurance in skipping you can get really good raids! use a troop combination between 20-30 minutes training time and with low cost. skip as long as you have enough gold, and search for a really crappy base that has like townhall lv 8. yesterday i got like 3million gold(or even more, spend every thing on maxing out walls) and i dont know how much elixir(full storages)
Use tier 1 troops for faster cooking time.
