I have been designing a new farm but I can't figure out how to make it active. It says I have unplaced essentials and can't make it active. What are the unplaced essentials, and how do I activate my new design? I would appreciate any help anyone can give me! Thanks!
It means that you have not placed all the things back on your farm that are required - all of the plots of land, all the trees and bushes you have already planted, and the machines, all the houses that you bought for pets, etc...
The only things you don't have to put back are decorations that you won or purchased.
Kareng is right. Basically, you have to put out every last item that you have on your active farm. Check each tab on the right of the edit mode. If there is even one bush, tree or machine left unplaced, you can't activate your farm. Good luck!

(I just read what is in the link. Not very helpful if you don't know what "essentials" are. LOL! I think you are getting better info here from farmers!
