You can't change your name.
Your two options are:
1. Start over with a new account.
2. Grow thicker skin.
I recommended thicker skin.
you could TRY and send an email to the support team, there is absolutely NO GUARANTEE it will go through but maybe you can get a name change

Supercell did this so it was made easier to "code". But thing is you were told at the beginning you cannot change your name.
As has been said this is not normally possible - as there is no permanent history of who you are other than your name the name is the way that others recognise you by, it is very possible if you could easily change your name a player could troll a clan, change their name and then come back and do the same again.
Maybe it should cost gems? Or have a cool down of at least a month-3. ??Quote:
