Supercell will not allow me to access my account
I am at my wit's end with Supercell. I have gone through the Clash application to contact Supercell and they cannot resolve a simple issue.
I have two Clash of Clans games. I have spent money on both of these games using the same Apple ID. My th 9 account is connected to Game Center and is on my iPhone. My th 10 account is on my iPad and is NOT connected to Game Center. I cannot connect the second, th 10, game to Game Center because Apple only allows you to save 1 game per Game Center account and they only allow you to have 1 Game Center account per Apple ID.
So, I recently purchased a new iPad and would like to have my th 10 game, which is NOT connected to Game Center, transferred to the new iPad. Last time I did this, I was able to backup the iPad and restore it with the game data. Now when I backup from my current iPad and restore to my new iPad, the th 10 game is not on the new iPad. It is NOT storing game data on the device.
I have written to Supercell at least 10 times in the last week and nothing has been done. They did respond and they asked me to start a new game (go through the tutorial). I did this. Then they asked me for all the information on this new account which I provided to them. Then they asked me to connect Game Center to this new account. This is a HUGE problem. I will then disconnect my th 9 account from Game Center and possibly lose that game too! I cannot disconnect a game from Game Center to connect a new game that I only started because Supercell told me I had to. I don't want the new account. I want my TWO existing accounts which I have spent money on!
Can anyone please tell me how to restore my game? I would try creating a new Apple ID on the new device, then using the new Apple ID on my old device, connecting the th 10 to the new Game Center account and then signing into Game Center on the new iPad. However, I fear that I will lose my game and I feel that I should NOT have to do this as I do not want another Apple ID, I simply want the game for which I have bought gems on my new iPad. This is a simple request! Why can this not be done through in-game processes or quickly through contacting Supercell? I've provided them with all the proof they need (my existing game information, the new account, the th 9 account, the clan, the player tags, the month/year I started playing, etc.). This is getting so ridiculous that I have contacted Apple and they have advised me to apply for a refund of my money from Supercell for the in-game purchases. After 2 years of playing Clash, I really don't want to do this but if that is what I need to do than so be it. It's just really sad that Supercell cannot provide a simple way for us to retrieve our accounts without relying on Game Center. I cannot possibly be the only one with more than 1 account on iOS devices!!!
A message to our benevolent game development team @ Supercell, if you take my money, you MUST restore my game. It's that simple. Don't take money if you cannot do a simple thing and restore my game. I realize you want to keep your game "secure" but don't do this at the expense of paying customers.
