Does all the land 'accross the road' now requite permits?

I was just wondering, that original small block on land on the other side of the road many of us unlocked a while back. Does that land now require permits too? Or it is only the new block of land released to the right of it that requires it?

It won't affect me, but I'm very curious as to how this affects future newer players.

I would think not.

Cheers Lynn, I thought maybe not. But then again to be consistent with land on one side of the road and the other I figured it was possible.

So permit = new land with decoration.

I need to forget different sides of the road!
