What happened to the newspaper?

I noticed this too. I'm getting great stuff from the DD! And best of all... no eggs!

Noticed the improvement too however since the update my hay day crashes after opening the DD a few times, thread made in bugs forum.

I agree but it never lasts long. When the game has maintenance it takes a while for the bot farms to come back online. Already my paper is filling up with the usual wheat and eggs. I got bolts, TNT and lots of wonderful things. It really does show how good the paper could be if the bot farms were permanently stopped

More people playing after update. Things will even out after a few days. Enjoy it while it last. Bot farms are usually eradicated as well with updates. Haven't seen one bot farm since. Good times.

As the frog says, tons of people are playing because of the update. I'm seeing good stuff in the paper, too, but you have to be really quick since it's a feeding frenzy!

Mine was terrible last night after the update - cloche hats, so many cloche hats! There's always too many cloche hats of course, but it had reached a new level where for the first time ever, I had a full page of just cloche hats and there were one or two on every other page too... It seems to have gone back to normal today though, phew!

More people playing and bots not yet reset = temporary variety in the paper.

Aww, too bad i missed the nice variety. I'm one of those android players who's tablet crashes after trying to explore the DD.
