First booster.... Tom every 3 hours?

My first booster is Tom. But from the way it looks, it shows Free "3:00:00".

Is that like a free 3 hours for user's who haven't paid for Tom? Or am I misunderstanding?

If that's the case, then it's useless to me. I pay for Tom to come every 2 hours.

Will there be a thread (or has someone already started one) with explanations of each of the boosters?

Please advise.

Doesn't that one make Tom stay for an extra 3 hours? (Which would mean one extra run)

Free for 3 hrs. Not 3 hr sleep. So you get 2 free runs out of him.

Two extra. As soon as you activate it, you get one run, and then he sleeps for two hours, and you get your second run.

Edited to say they have added a fix for the glitch below

It's very useful! Two free runs of Tom for everyone (3 hours extra if you already hire him). That's more jelly beans!

And if anyone doesn't want their two free runs, I will gladly take them! ;)

If you don't have Tom then it's a free use of Tom for 3 hours and if you do have him hired the booster will extend the hired time by 3 hours. Either way you will get 3 (extra) hours of Tom use.

Hi Kolonistje ... I have the free Tom for 3 hours on my first boost card . As my barn is totally overflowing I can't use him yet , so my question is ... How long will it stay in my booster storage for ? Do they have a limited time before you have to use them ?

From something that Nick posted on another thread (that I can't find right now) they just sit there until you use, trash or replace them.

Hi HH,

Yes as smallchange posted the booster will simply stay until you use, trash or replace it.
A few things to remember is that you can only have 3 boosters in storage at a time. You can temporarily rent an extra space (for diamonds). And you can only have 1 of a certain type of booster active at one time. What that means exactly I'm not sure of and have to find out in game myself but if I look at the pictures from the sneak peek info it looks like you'd need to choose which one to keep if you get a booster of the same type. I'd need to test that to know for sure.

So all in all it seems like boosters are meant to be used mostly.

You only have 3 FREE boosters spaces, you can pay to store unlimited others. The storage last for as long as you keep the booster card in storage.

You only have one FREE ACTIVE booster, you can pay to have more active at the same time, but only one of each type. For example you can activate a 'Faster crops' booster and a 'Rose & Ernest' and a 'Fill boat crates' , but you can't ACTIVATE another 'Faster crops' at the same time. You either have to trash the first one (to use a better one) or wait until the first one expires before activating the next one.

I probably won't be renting extra booster space and just use them on a regular bases. I'd only consider renting it if there's an awesome booster I'd like to save. So I guess I didn't really consider buying the extra space.
