Are you still crying about the negative rep I gave you? I gave you the reason why, and it was valid. Funny, when you revenged negative repped me, you stated nothing about my post, you just complained I gave you negative rep for no reason. Let it go, it's no big deal. Undeserved downvotes can be policed. But when downvotes are used properly, they can really do their job. I'm happy to give this positive-only version a try, but my gut reaction is to say it's not going to be as useful
The entire rep system is pointless, this is not a reddit forum no matter how much Lach wants it to be. It was always doomed to failure as has been shown.

Following this, and keeping in mind that I say this as someone negatively downvoted once, and only once, by a troll who was spreading false information and attempting to correct my already correct information (who will remain anonymous), we need to be able to downvote those who deserve it. Spreading false information, attacking users, wrong sub-forum, offensive content...etc. We should be able to downvote as much as we should be able to upvote. My suggestion is to restore the negative reputation option to the forum, and completely remove the restrictions on how many times you can upvote the same person, instead, make it so that you can only upvote or downvote an individual post one time each. This would be the best system in my eyes. Fair, and with mostly no opportunity for abuse.
And yes, there will be abuses of the negative reputation system if restored. There always will be. That doesn't make it a bad system, and if anything, it makes it a necessary evil. It must exist, or there must be no reputation system. Especially not as it exists today with it's current restrictions.

Sorry bud, but no, you were wrong! Love you though, and appreciate the comment. It's telling for me as well that you'd try to correct someone who was already proven right and lived that life for months before dropping trophies up to only a few days before I made that post. Also, I downvoted you for spreading false information, ,and trying to "correct" my already correct information. Again, I lived the information I shared...therefore it can't be false or wrong.
