Cool down for rejoin a clan: A solution to cool down elder

Since the new update, complaints have been seen about the cool down of elder kicking members. most of the complaints comes from the situation where an unwanted player join and get kicked but he rejoined the clan repeatedly, leaving the elders no means to fight back. so here is the idea of solving this:

Simply add a cool down for rejoin the same clan after been kicked or left. the cool down time is exactly the same (maybe more) as the cool down time for kick.

Thanks for the feedback. I think SC can design it in a way that a player has a cool down to enter any previously entered clan within 30 mins.

No the cooldown may work, just simply it stays for the next 12 to 24 hours he was kicked from

Yep the clan joining cool down is a much better idea than the elder kicking cool down.

The joining clan cool down should be about a couple hours like 5 or 10.:D

Its a good idea but you simplify the problem instead of making it double complicated.. You know it, To give the leader the option if he want the cooldown for his elders or not

I would say that is a brilliant idea too! The option of distinguish one elder from anther by assigning different levels of administration right is essentially a clan title system change(or ranking, hierarchy, whatever you call it). So if this is a good idea, I wonder why SC did not give us a co-leader position in the most recent update anyway.

This is definitely a better idea than the elder cool down.

The only issue we have had with elders kicking a lot of members was when an elder accidentally promoted someone instead of kicking them (he hit the wrong button). We instructed other elders that if this happens, to quickly promote other known members to prevent them from being kicked, the leader would just demote them later after the initial "bad egg" was kicked.

Regardless, I just kicked an unwanted member a few minutes ago and presto, he joined 5 seconds later and talked trash. What can I do? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

My clan promotes vetted people to be elders, and every elder NEEDS to have the ability to kick unwanted/bad members out.

PLEASE REMOVE THE COOL DOWN FOR KICKING and IMPLEMENT A COOL DOWN FOR RE-JOINING AFTER BEING KICKED.

This needs to be done, you guys have removed the ability for elders to look out for their clans. Soometimes the clan leader cannot log on and fix a problem, and even after he kicks someone, they just log right back in!!!

Not all leaders can sit there and keep repeatedly kicking vulgar or unwanted members for minutes or hours at a time.

I like the "co-leader" suggestion. This would solve a lot of issues by allowing 1 person (and only 1 person) to be promoted as co-leader. Any more than one person allowed and it just becomes the "new elder" role which defeats the idea of letting a second person have more power.

The cooldown for elder should be kept. And cooldown to join a new clan is also good :).

So bad elders can't kick and hoppers cannot join :D
