You know you're a little crazy when...

You don't want to open the free diamond present for maintenance because it will mess up the even number of diamonds you have achieved...

You refuse to harvest any tree or bush that will die unless you have the required axe/saw to get rid of it immediately...

You were really upset about the fishing boat because you had to mess up your careful landscaping in order to access it...

You feel like the world is out of w♥♥♥♥ when you have less than 20 of each sugar...


This is just a few of my Hay Day obsessions. Am I the only one who has these issues?

I do the even number thing with animal food especially. It always has to be in a multiple of 3. If I buy food from Greg I sell 2 of them because 5 is not a multiple of 3 and it drives me nuts.

Looks like we are kindred spirits....or obsessive compulsive!!!

I think this game attracts people with OCD, and indeed, it requires a certain degree of OCD to play it well.

My thing is that I have to have all of the animals fed at all times. It bothers me too much to see them looking skinny and unhappy. Yes, I know it is not real, and that no animals are actually hungry.

I also have to NEVER have hungry animals, so always have 2 lots of food for each animal. I also NEVER sell axes and saws because I couldn't have a dead tree or bush!!! Oh dear...........;)

1. It isn't OCD, it's ♥♥♥♥ retentive - there's a difference - which only someone ♥♥♥♥ retentive would point out :D

2. The don't harvest the last harvest until you can remove the dead wood thing is just logic. I saw a farm where a guy obviously pays no attention to it, and from a maintenance standpoint, he's almost out of room for anything because his farm is covered with dead bushes.

3. I don't know what level my barn will need to be before I can keep 2 sets of feed for all animals at all times, but I can tell you that I'm nowhere near it yet at barn = 300 :). I recommend starting a fresh game on another device so you can recall what it's like to harvest a 4x4 patch of wheat and have it fill your silo hahaha.

My ♥♥♥♥ retentiveness comes from trying to determine accurate stock levels for my barn space. I spend time considering how much sugar, cream, butter, ProductX to keep on hand. (Sigh - yes, I confess it's always an even number lol)

I don't sell anything at maximum price (feels mean to overcharge) and can only sell items in my store for a price ending with 0 or 5. I will round down to -10/-15/-20 of maximum price to reach the target. I also don't like to harvest my bushes or trees and prefer to buy all of my berries/fruit rather than risk having shabby, dead vegetation. But perhaps the most OCD thing I do in regards to HD is my never-ending quest to find bolts...<sigh>.

I just found 5 diamonds in a mystery chest and spent them immediately so I would be back to my even diamond number

Lol I do same. If you see my farm I have 12 chickens, 9 cows, 9 pigs, 9 sheeps and 3 goats :D
if I buy from Greg for example 5 cow feed because my feed maker is making goat feed, then I only take out milk of 5 cows. Other remain same until all milk is ready again :)
