symmetrical base???

im trying to make my own level 7 base and i am sort of a neat freak so i like my bases to be very symmetrical. the problem is that the base will end up being very long if i did that so i asking if it is best to have a symmetrical base or does it really matter at all? can there me a better base that is not symmetrical than a base that is symmetrical? and if it does get really hard to make it symmetrical what towers are so alike that i can put it so it messes it up but generally it will still be symmetrical? for example i know that the archer tower and the canon is pretty much the same but what else is?

Try searching for the 'One Ring' design. It is symmetrical but still gets the job done :).

My base is a close enough to call maxed. It's a symmetrical town hall 7.

The only advantage of a symmetrical base is that there is no weaker side.....but that doesn't mean that they are good.

symmetrical base designs generally look cooler but a good non symmetrical base design beats a symmetrical design any day
why? because the base design would be confusing and the attacker will most likely not know where to attack
unlike a symmetrical design where all sides are generally equal

symmetrical bases do have a major weakness which is that you can generally attack from any side. defenses and traps are likely equally distributed so attacker can focus his attack on a side or corner. the attacker only needs to look for defenses upgrading or direct line to say the de storage if its not centered.

sometime a partially-symmetric base or base that purposefully exposes a weaker side makes the attacker think more. the attacker needs to send out feeler troops to make sure he's not walking into a trap before committing full force.

I do not think symmetry is that important in base design. You get 3 mortars so making a perfectly symmetrical base is very difficult.

I guess i would not consider that symmetrical, but i see what you were going for. All of your storages are close together and easy to get to. I would also protect your third mortar too. It is best to have all mortars in the center in a triangular formation. Nice work though. Cheers

- gather all of your mortars inside the center wall (switch east AD with outer mortar)
- don't put both AD next to each other, better spread them a little bit (switch your bottom AD with west wizz tower)
- don't gather your gold mine, archer will easily take all your gold from one side
