The thing is, smart players wouldn't kick both by "mistake." If they would, they shouldn't be designated as Elder in the first place. The problem remains that cooldowns don't allow Elders the necessary force behind them to protect the clan against certain individuals who seek to destroy the clan. A leader should have more options to give kicking power to certain individuals and the LEADER HIM/HERSELF should decide if a cooldown is even necessary for their clan. Many leaders only promote people they know in real life, so what purpose does an overreaching cooldown serve for them? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. What needs to be implemented is a cooldown toggle switch for each indolividual elder. That way, Elders who already have WARRANTED trust from the leader CAN enforce the rules without a cooldown hindrance, and NEW Elders can be given a cooldown time for as long as the leader determines. It is completely ridiculous that an Elder who has been one for months should have a cooldown same as a newly promoted Elder. This also supports an argument for MORE RANKS. SC has yet to recognize and implement this, but its necessary for the smooth functioning of a clan. I appreciate the goal of a cooldown and what it's intended purpose is, but this is a better way to handle those sporadic elder kickings that people seem to fear. Don't take away power from trusted Elders to solve your problems, figure out how to dispurse it in a more effective, strategic way.
