We need engineered bases to have more war weight. War weight based off of offensive power instead of just defenses. Yes of course you can 3 star an engineered base easily but when a th11 with one cannon is matched up with the bottom base in war and hammers the top bases makes war unfair and very disheartening. It makes war not much fun and needs to be balanced out.

CoC is strategic game, that means that you should choose your way of playing, they chose the one that is good for wars so it shouldn't be banned.
Extreme lopsided bases ruin the game for beginners. They need some balancing to discourage, but not to ban.

He is suggesting weighting offense more in line with how defense is weighted. I happen to agree but others do not. The debate has been waged a few times now. I am not sure what good it does for us all to have at it on yet another thread. We have all spoken our peice and should just leave it that we agree to disagree. Supercell gave us the awesome challenge mode and I dont think enough people use it as a way to improve offensive attacks. Good Luck!
yes, that is why the op was a bit irritating to me. he could have simply added his argument to an already existing thread if he is not having a new suggestion or idea. It's unfair. I think an easy way would be taking into account how many th 11, th 10 are there in a clan, and then match them with a clan with the same amount of THs 11, 10, etc. Then arrange the THs of the same level according to their weight, so a low defense th 11, no matter how strong offensively it can be, would have to mirror another th 11 with good defense level. engineered bases would be spoiled and useless.

As we can friendly challenge a clan mate now, SC decided to wait 24 hs before you can use a new base to challenge. That was because of people complains about copying war bases so they could train before attacking the real one in the map.

I think what he means, and what gets under most peoples skin when they see these types of match, is how the engineered maps are placed in the lineup. Placing a TH11 opposite of say a TH7 based on the defensive only portion of the equation is what is causing all the stink. I think by now everyone SHOULD realize that the MM equation takes into account the offense and defense weight of the entire makeup of each side of the war. If they don't they are not paying attention to the million threads on this already. I think what most people would like to see is a minimum PLACEMENT on the board and have that placement reflect the proper war win bonus as well. They don't really need to mess with war weights as if you look at the over all weight of each clan those seem to be getting matched fairly well IMO.Quote:

One thing that just occurred to me is that with the massive increase of the farming war clans and the manipulation of the MM to such a degree SC may be forced to take a stand on the engineering of bases. The farming wars were, I think we can all agree, a very good solution to people being upset with the manipulation of the MM by engineering. How much longer will SC stand by and allow the farming war clans to operate before they act to stop that type of play? If they do act on this type of play which is basically free loot and clan xp how can they then ignore the complaints of the anti engineering players in the game.
I think we will see some drastic changes in the game in the near future........

My clan just lost a war against an engineered clan, 5x th11 v 2x th11. They got 100% on us, we got 98%.
They had extra attacks left over even though they failed on our top guys more than us.
If their engineered bases carried more weight hopefully the matchup would be 3x th11 vs 2xth11, then the war would be fairer.
Everyone wants to go into a war with a chance of winning.
