That said, you were also right to bring up rotating designs. Like Pingfao's Tesla Theme Park, many rotating designs are very strong defensively. However, in such asymmetrical designs, there is always a spot where the point defenses aren't as effective as they could be in my opinion. That's why I prefer symmetrical designs... an attacker against my base design will have to face the same amount of point defenses no matter where they attack, since the Cannons and Archer Towers are evenly distributed throughout the base.
