I can get 2k from a max level storage. I can get 2400 from three max level drills with a far lower troop investment. Raiding DE storages is fine and I'd never criticize the way someone prefers to play. But as far as efficiency, DE is going the same way gold did.
Sorry everyone whilst im never going to say no to free loot for me these ratios are not going to incentivise me or any real farmer to climb up...
Maybe a temporary rise to get the achievment but i think it won't take long before people realise that these increases are not going to help those who wish to maintain base progression, just those looking for a new way to prolong their game.
Rememebr the higher you climb the more chance you have of losing on defence.. So that 180k you have acculmilated through the loot increase is gone because you climbed up and moved your TH in.

True, but most abandoned TH10s have low level drills which don't allow as much free DE as compared to gold. TH10s with max level drills are usually active players. Of course this will likely change with time as more and more highly developed TH10s abandon the game, so I see your point.
Any increase is nice, and the rest of the update looks very solid, but I have to say that supercell doesn't seem to understand their own game at all. Adding more resource output to the game is never going to cause the kind of resource flood that they seem to be afraid of, there are pretty much unlimited resource sinks for gold and DE in the form of walls and heroes, and adding elixer would only move the line between constantly overflowing storages and constantly having none at all up a couple hundred trophies. And even if they did manage to go too far, perhaps by quintupling leauge bonuses and collector outputs all they would have to do to bring balance back is add another level of walls. There was no flood of excess gold when the most expensive walls were 500k, there certainly isn't going to ever be now.
I have no secrets regarding my farming. I carry a giant/wb/arch/barb loadout. I like it because it's versatile and has no DE cost. If I want to break a base, I can do it. But I've also got the archers and barbs for collector runs I come across.
I do some number of full base raids for 200k gold and 2k DE. I do a lot of raids on peripheral DE storages for 600-900 DE with a handful of archers, a couple giants, and maybe a few barbs and a wb or two. And I do a lot of collector raids. I'll take pretty much any amount of gold or DE I can get off unprotected collectors provided I have trophies to burn. On any given day of the week I'm probably somewhere between 1500 and 1800 trophies. I do reasonably well for DE this way with my BK 21->22 and my AQ 19->20.
Also I agree that unprotected high level collectors are not yet as prevalent as unprotected high level gold mines. But it's coming.
A little of topic hence the PM mention... But whats the gold intake? Are you still "casual" ? Or have you increased your hit rate again? I was there recently and albeit ok i felt i was running a better average above 2k... Just too many TH7s in the queue for me there.
I like the DE given in the loot bonuses but still not incentivized to move. But thanks Supercell for trying to pump more resources into the game.
Meh, certainly better than nothing but I was hoping SC would take this opportunity to substantially increase the bonuses to end farming and make the game focused on trophies. Maybe next time.
