So, little help farming at TH 7, please.

Right now I've hit TH 7 in the last few days and I've heard how it was the ideal TH level to farm. I've been having trouble recently and at best I've gotten up to 200k resources (Very very very premature TH 8 with next to no defenses upgraded and awful walls so it won't be the norm) but on average I get anyway from 100k-50k. It seems just as bad as TH 6 honestly, and I feel like I must be doing something wrong. I'm also being attacked much much much more often compared to my TH 6 base despite having roughly the same resource amounts I used too and only a paltry amount of DE.
Any advice would be great. I'm at about 1300 trophy range, only recently hit 1300 and not sure if I should go up farther or go down, and my current raiding army is just 50% barbs, 50% archers, and 10 WBs.
Right now I usually search for inactive bases with their collectors on the outside but honestly I'm not finding any of these after 20+ searches right now and if I do the amount usually isn't even worth going for. I've been hesitant to go for bases with pink walls or better and seemingly high defenses in the center with defended collectors, so I'm wondering if I'm just not putting enough faith in my troops to actually take down the collectors. I have about a 185 army camp so I have a decent chunk of barbs/archers at my disposal each raid, but I'm always worried they'll just get annihilated if I try to go for the center of a base for storages.
I had a little success recently against a TH 8 with 400k in both storages, I only took down two but managed to get 200k of each resource despite it, and a 49% destruction rating, despite only focusing for the center of the base. (Not very many pockets and could reach the center through an edge, so only one layer of walls to get through) so I'm thinking it might just be poor choosing on which bases to attack on my part.

Any advice would be great, thank you. >_< I'm also including a picture of my current base in case any critiques could be made. I found it on the forums actually, said it was his modified version of the master/slave layout.

First week or two at a new th are usually tough. You don't have the troop upgs complete, you need lots of loot, etc.

Upg your army camps all the way will help a lot.

my experience in th7 was very good. it's about to finish in 4 days since i'm upgrading to th8 and i have all in max with the exception of collectores.

your trophy range is too high. try between 1000-1200. you're being attacked more often, because in that trophy range you will find many th8/th9.

you have to attack the active bases too. try to adapt your army to attack the storages. i use for 200 spaces, 12 Giants, 50 archers, 5 wb, 66 goblins and 1 healer (i use him only a few times)

Sometimes you have to search 50+ bases until you find a base with lot of resources and weak defenses and walls.

i also avoid that pink walls and compact base, because you have soo much to choose.

regarding your base, you have weak walls, if you're a farmer no point protecting th, and your mine storages are very unprotected.

upgrade your tropps, go 1000-1200 trophies and go in chinese servers for easy 300k gold+

I heard ur using 50% archsers 50% barbs,
this is wrong. max ur army camps to high capacity first, then this is a good army comp u could use, its called giant healer strat

20 giants
2 healers
42 archers
30 barbs

This is the best army comp ive heard of so far for th7
u will get high up in the trophies and get a very good amount of resources,
ur welll o ur way to 3 starring every base

I am also a new th7, and actually just dropped to around 1200 trophies from 1500. the loot is there, you just have to search around 10 times to find it!

the army composition I use is a relatively cheap army. I use 10 giants, 51 archers, 7 wallbreakers, and 90 gobblins. try that army out by deploying first the giants first then wallbreakers, archers, and finally the gobblins to get all the resources. yesterday I think I did ok getting 2 million in gold, and I used all that gold to buy my 2 teslas!! good luck buddy :cool:

I maxed TH7 in 4 weeks, including all 35m for lvl 7 walls using solely 90barb/90archer/10minion (only used Minions if it was worth it / to kill a BK). I did cook an all dragon army overnight though... oh the benefits of four lvl 9 barracks.

you really shouldn't need anything else.

Ideal range for TH7 is 1000-1350 anything higher isnt worth it unless you're DE farming or you could go sub200. Upgrade your camps quickly and then look for easy targets. Even 100k is good if u use 50 barbs or less. Think about troop to resource ratio instead of overall resources. It's more efficient to use less troops and gain less resources, than using all troops and only a little bit better resources. Hope it helps, and good luck!!
