Removing is a bad idea IMO. There would be way too many perfect wars if everyone got to practice. Again, the simplest answer is applying the 24hr cooldown to changes made to active home base as well. The modders rely on "visiting" a base in order to practice. If I make a new base and set it as my home base, it can immediately be sandboxed. However, someone had to wait 24hrs before they could even visit my home base, then how could they practice? The war would be over.

I guess, but it'd be incredibly awkward at the start, having to download more stuff every day or two, and it would annoy gemmers, and they're SCs main customers

Agreed. DO NOT remove 24 hour cooldown. That is mad. As far as I can see priorities are:
a) Ban burners quicker so they can do nothing.
b) Create a 24-hour timer on visiting home bases.
c) If they really don't wanna do either of those, do what Tomius suggested, which is also kinda mad, and would remove the super casuals, but soon enough this game is just gonna be the hardcore war players anyway. Might work tho.

I actually laughed out loud in disbelief, reading that they don't need to even tap their screen. If this is true, it's obscene. I had always kind of resolved in my own little reality that even with the ability to practice, there was still at least a chance for them to mess up on the deployment of the actual attack. I didn't realize there was basically an 'auto-win' function to it, if in fact that is true....

Agree completely. It is obscene. It is madness. I just hope in the next update SC does something to stop this, and to make war fair engineering-wise too. Though some of them obvs don't know this stuff, coz they modded our th11s for ages, and came back to clan to hit 11v11 for a mass bowler 2* 66% lol!

They still practice on their own, but every attempt is recorded. So, when an attempt is successful, they go live and hit "Play", and the screen taps are replayed exactly as the time you 3 starred it in practice.

Google it like mentioned above and you will find proof that it is possible to stop it at its source. Might be a permanent solution?
