Dont worry about it as much its hard to get de with th7 troops just continue to farm de untill ur defense is maxed because it gets alot easier with level 5 troops IMO :p
You can still try, I got mine to lvl3 today. (Iam a th7)

Max out your barb king. People think it's hard to get de at th7 because of lvl 4 troops and no de drill. If you strictly focus on de or have your gold and elixir storage max. You can get 10k+ de a day. I'm a th7 i have a max barb king(lvl 5). I also got my hog riders to lvl 2 (20k de).The difference between a lvl 1 and 5 barb king is huge.
Do it. It's hard but worth it.

Yes get the Barb King to lvl5 at TH7 the DE loot you get at TH7 is pretty good, and it shouldn't take long to upgrade minions, hogs and your barb king. You can use my guide(in my sig)or other guides to learn how to farm for DE
And I decided to upgrade my TH (BK was level3 when I committed). Now it looks like I might max my King during the upgrade process. If everything else is maxed, you'll have idle builders and even the 4 to 5 upgrade only takes 2 days.
Max out your barbarian king with th 7.

I maxed mine out, and now i have a lv 12 barbarian king at town hall 8
Ok,now i am thinking abot it,you should do it.It will help you at th8.
The best strategy is to get all lvl9 barracks,go up to 1600-2000 (will also help you gat that achevment) and traing dragon armies every hour and a half.
Its not hard,i just got a my lvl3 barb king
