Skill in attacking should be the deciding factor.
I've said this before in another thread, this is the only game in this genre that allows you to do better in competitive play by intentionally making your base defensively weaker. I truly do not think this is the way supercell invisioned clan wars. I think in the coming months it will be fixed.
SC has already modified the MM to address these bases and they have stated they will continue to do so. Maybe their changes will work and maybe they won't. But it's clear that they wouldn't try to change the type of advantage these bases have if they thought it was kosher.
Have you heard of "smurfing" or "twinking" in Warcraft? It was a way of doing PVP where you would make a L19 character to put into L10-19 battlegrounds, then load him up with awesome gear that most L19s could not get on their own. Then you would stay at L19 and smash noobs into oblivion.
Hey
IMO your wrong.
0.5 is totally dead now.
Engineering is not good too.
Only defless is a little useful.
We have many .5 bases in clan but we face huge mismatches.
This war we have 1 eagle and 6 infernos and they have 1 eagle and 16 infernos.
You see? That's because we have 1 10.5 and 6 9.5
Now all of them matched with infernos while they don't have infernos.
We usually win because the other clan are noobs who can't 3* even a no inferno base.
Yes I remember twinks, they were devastating at low lvl PvP. But in clash you have offensively maxed th11 that are fooling the matchmaker into thinking they are a weak base. But they have the ability to give their team extra hits at the top of the map. Difference is the Twink evenif he could have got into the high lvl PvP bracket wouldn't have stood a chance
You, my friend, are genius. I mean who would ever think to start a discussion about a topic that has too much discussion. I bet you are one of those base engineers aren't you? Good job!😂👍🙋😒
But they are not fooling the matchmaker. The MM sees their clan's overall offense as a reasonable match for your clan's overall defense. Your problem is that your are looking at just 1 base, while the MM looks at the entire roster. If your top bases are hard to 3 star, then you can expect the MM to throw bigger and bigger offenses at you until your bases get 3 starred.
Incorrect. The matchmaking is based off of (about 90%) DEFENSIVE war weight of BOTH teams. Offense capabilities has almost no impact on matchmaking. So if one clan has offensive strength 2x higher but similar defensive war weight, you might get matched with them which gives the 1st clan a HUGE advantage.
