I play on iPod Touch 5. Everything is fine. I get my friend to download the game on his iPhone 4 but it crashes all the time. He can't even start.
People has reported they get more ads from the newspaper with iPad. And it should be more convenient to decorate your farm, move things around with bigger screen .
I play on both and I have a much better experience on the iPad than the iPhone. The bigger overview of your farm makes it easier to plan the layout and the additional newspaper ads makes shopping much more enjoyable.
I play on iPhone 5 and its brilliant :) very responsive and even though its got a smaller screen than an iPad, I don't feel like it restricts game play at all.
I play on both iPad and iPhone and the iPad is miles better. First of all you run less risk of accidentally spending diamonds because the screen is bigger. But you also get a better overview, it's easier to look at other people's stalls because you have double rows, and the newspaper is bigger.
i play on ipad 2 and iphone 4s, and for my second farm i play on my old iphone 3gs.
I play on I Phone 4 my son plays on my I pad The I pad is much easier to see and I wish I had the newspaper they should give I phone users more pages since we don't have many adds on a page
iPad primarily, and iPhone when I can't get Internet connection on the iPad, like at airports and when sitting in boring conferences!
I play on my iPhone 5 and iPad mini. I prefer the iPad bc the screen is bigger but haven't had problems with the game in either.
I play both on iPhone 4S and on iPad Mini. I have 2 different accounts, one for iphone 4s and one for my ipad mini. iPad Mini being my main device so my main account will be on my mini.
Ipad. Full experience. Don't play on iPhone.
agree, ipad is way better though im amazed at the beautiful and functional farms of my neighbors who play on the iphone. i can never do that and if i had to play using the iphone i probably wouldnt play it at all lol
I wish I had an ipad now :( although I used to play on my old iphone 3gs and there's quite a difference between that and the iphone 5 :)
I bet its way better on the ipad though (I don't think i've managed too bad though) :)...maybe an ipad should be my next investment!
I use to play on my iphone 4 but it takes way too long to load the game and most of the time it crash not to mention it drains my battery too fast. Now I play it on my ipad mini, so much better with the bigger screen...
I play on an iPad2. I'd make to many mistakes if I played on my phone. Having said that, it's a battle to see who gets on the iPad first, me or my children lol.
your farm is really beautiful, i dont think i told you that! im surprised when you said you only have 1 follower cuz you really deserve much more :) i think playing on the 3gs sucks, too zoomed in and too much scrolling! i play my second farm on the 3gs and i dont ever wanna touch it unless i absolutely have to when i need extra sugar or dairy lol. i hope you get to play on the ipad someday! the newspaper is the biggest difference! though with all that rehashed ads it really doesnt make much difference now haha
Awww thank you! So is yours! :) I've got that space now though where I've expanded and I'm not sure what to do with it lol! Yep bless him/her they've stuck around for months! I think one of the worst parts about playing on an iphone is when you are trying to rearrange your farm, dragging decorations and trees etc :) i'm glad I got rid of the 3gs tbh, like you I was scared to touch it haha! My iPhone 5 is doing well though (apart from going through 3 chargers in 2 weeks, which resulted in me not being able to play HD lol...and i've only had it since May)
I'd LOVE an iPad, my nan wants one as well so its almost a battle who gets one first hehe. I think a bigger screen would make a lot of difference!
You will play this even more on an iPad. It's much easier. And you won't have terrible twins fighting for yours (lee might play your farm secretly) lol. Did you add your number tonight to the 'get to 20' game. I laugh every time I look on there now, because I know you will have added to it ha ha. Your dedicated and determined to get to 20. Did you see the new FB photos ?
IPad2 is my primary device, but I play on my phone if I'm sneaking on to the farm while I'm at work. :o
iPad 3 most of the time and iPhone 5 when I'm out and about but still need a farming fix.
iPad 3 only... I have said this before many times - I really respect and give great credit to folk who play this game on an iPhone, especially the top ranking fishers...!!! I could not, or would not be able to do it... I openly admit it... lol.
John.
Thanks everyone! Now I HAVE to get an I- Pad! LOL;) Been wanting one anyway, think I'll just bite the bullet
land get it. Happy Farming Y'all.
iPad3 as I don't have an iPhone (love my Droid Razr Maxx too much :o).
I play on both I pad 2 and I phone 4. I pad miles better but getting the hang of it now on I phone :0) !
I play on my iPad mini, and I definitely do get a very good hay day experience! Definitely worth buying my iPad.
iPad Mini for the most part, iPhone 5 when I'm out and about and have a quick moment.
I play on iPad. I couldn't imagine to play on iPhone with such small screen. I wonder whether iPhone players use stylus or finger.
I have always played on my ipad until this week when my ipad screen got broken :( and in order to keep at the same level on the replacement device I had to log into Game Centre, didn't know what it was before!!!
Now I can play on my iPhone 4S when out and about, which is better than nothing, but there is definitely an advantage to having a bigger screen.
oh, and when Hay Day was downloaded on the replacement device originally it was on level 1 and I had tears in my eyes!!!! Not that I'm addicted or anything..........;)
I play on the iPad and it is great. Don't think I would like it as much on the smaller screen.
I play mostly on my iPad, but use my iPhone when I'm out and about or at work (bad I know, but some of my conference calls are sooooo boring)!
As a general rule the bright young things can manage iPhones. We oldies need a dog a white stick and an iPad.
you can turn on hotspot on your phone to tether the 3G/LTE from your iphone and connect your ipad to your phone with the usb/bluetooth option and continue to play hayday on your ipad. That is what I do anyway when out since my ipad are wifi only.
I have a iphone 4, iphone 5 and the ipad with the retina display not sure what gen it is. and they are all loaded with hay day. no problem playing hay day on iphone 4 does not crash but ipad definitely is better. i play zoomed all the way out so the bigger screen is a plus and the extra newspaper pages definitely helps!
hahahaha, then i guess that i'm older in spirit then i thought... i like the bigger screen too of an ipad and i'm always struggling with moving things by accident when i play on my iphone :p;)
