Wrong given troops - Supercell READ THIS!

I've seen alot of clans where wrong given troops are a huge problem, and are destroying clans. In my clan, Unity Academy, we have a great donation system and people really respect what you request. Even though there are some FLUFFY BUNNY who wants to destroy clans and annoy people by giving wrong troops. (Our clan is apart of the Unity Alliance, wich is based on four clans: Unity Institute, Unity Academy, Unity and Unity Elite. Defintly recommend this alliance). But back to what we were talking about here. Our clan is not getting destroyed because of it, but it's really annoying when it happens. Even though there are ALOT of clans just getting destroyed because of people giving the wrong troops, because absolutely everyone gives wrong. We're using glassboard to take screenshots when it happens and post there. But it's so much harder than supercell fixing this problem. How can they fix it? I will explain it to you guys right now. They did it so we could write what we wanted while requesting not a long time ago, wich I think is very good. But they could do this alot easier. To the point: Say if i write (Wizards please) in my request. And someone be like "I ain't got time to train wizards for you man! You're getting archers! That's the situation in most of the clans. But if supercell did it like this: The person who requests can click on the picture of wich troop he wanted, and he could click how many troops he wanted and click a button wich made it confirm that he wanted forexample dragons and wizards. That's alot more easier than writing it. And the other guys in the clan could ONLY give what the requester clicked. Than the donators would click the "Donate" button as it've always been and they could choose between clicking the wizard pic or the dragon pic, and that's the only thing he can choose between. And if the requester clicked barbs and archers the donators could only give barbs and archers. That's what I think supercell could do to fix this problem, and I just wanted to post this here so they could maybe read it and use this in the future updates. This would make all the clans so much better and it would do it alot easier for people to start up new clans.

I made tread about this problem and i suggested that they ad an log that shows WHO donated what and when so u can see WHO send the wrong troops all the time and warn Them and Then kick them

So basically what you are saying is the requester could limit the choice of troops it is possible to donate?

I could see that working, good idea.

I like this one, because when i ask for archers, i dont want goblins defending my base, this is considering im town hall7 and the highest level in my clan, if i get level 2 and 3 troops, i definitely want what i ask for.

This is a smart idea. I wonder why they didn't put this up instead of writing what you want.:confused:

This isn't a great idea. It would only work in clans such as yours where ppl only give one troop type. 1) sometimes ppl request not having any one specific troop in mind, your system would punish them if somebody online doesn't have that troop; 2) donating is all about that feeling of, "maybe somebody will give 2 witches" your system takes the mystery out completely.

I rather not have the feeling of "maybe someone will give me level 2 barbarians", if you get what I mean. Of course there could be an option that can accept everything.

One issue here is in limiting the troops, you may not get your CC filled: As posted by Waaah, having a clan that donates a single troop this is great. In my clan if there is a request for dragon or witch a donator can offer what they have. The requestor either accepts or decides to wait for the troop of choice. With this there would be no choice until the 20min cooldown expires.

Well, it would if you are willing to wait for the troop you want. I prefer to have my CC filled quickly and like the option of accepting a variety of troops. If SC were to do this, and allow an "Any Troop" choice, and keep the ability to write what you want, I would support it.

1. Ability to select specific troops (one, multiple, all)
2. Ability to identify qty of requested troops (20 spaces: 2 giants 10 archers)
3. Ability to set minimum troop level for requested troops
4. Ability to set clan default (specific troop/s)
5. Requester can override clan defaults

i like! Great idea!

I really think that incorporate any solution that helps with this issue is good.

use will emerge with new ideas and improving.

I'm in Academy as well and it is definitely not destroying our clan, but it is extremely annoying. Ever since we implemented the whole 1:2 donate to receive ratio with minimums for both, certain people just donate whatever they have in order to boost their ratio. It is pretty frustrating when I ask for a level 2+ dragon or level 4+ wizards for overnight defense, then someone gives me a bunch of level 4 archers or level 3 giants. It would be extremely helpful to limit what units you will accept. Just changing the format to get rid of the writing would be perfect. When you request, a box could come up with pictures of all the troops. You could just check the ones you want and uncheck the ones you do not want. Maybe even click multiple times on the pictures to cycle through the levels of each troop you will accept.

ya but what if theres like an hour gap where almost no one is one? you request ONLY archers and then you only end up getting like 10 troops.

srsly tho, good idea

I really think this is a bad idea.
1) this is just another one of those filler pieces they can throw in and say, "hey we listen to you."
2) the whole point in finding a good clan is to not have to worry about this. If you are a leader, then kick the ppl doing this, or if you are a member, find another clan whose leadership is more attentive to this problem. Adding further restrictions is not the answer.

Results in a decrease of donation. Bad idea, also the original idea was similar but supercell didn't implement it that way and they did the right thing

It wont if people train some stuff to give away like wizards, dragons and pekkas over night. And this is not just for people who request and donate wizards alot, but also for players who requests for archers. Because someone is still giving like goblins if someone asks for archers maybe because they're a bit cheaper or it is what they've got in their camps atm and don't wanna train anything else. And I'm sure no one wants goblins to defend their base.

I really like this. Some small things added that really makes this idea alot better.

i just hate this idea these guys just donate u "for free" and u guys start complaining about what they gave u again "for free" when u will pay for donations then u can complain
PS:don t think i don t donate what is req cuz i replied like this :/

i like this idea and it was suggested even before the request message was implanted, i have no idea where SC was going with the message...

I bet you don't want goblins to defend your base even though they're free.

What if the leader/elders have control like the members can choose what they want but the leader/elders cna change to all if the member is only requesting dragons 100% of the time

So your saying the leader can change a request to wall breakers? That isnt a good idea. They could just give a warning. Then maybe a kick.

Yes, they give you troops for free, but they get troops from you too! :)

One problem. This may have been pointed out, but here I go.
Say a town hall 9 requests and asks for only dragons, and sets the filter to dragons. Only people with dragons can donate. I have seen some clans with people from silver 3 all the way to masters 2. If this happened, then the lower levels could not donate as much to people. This would be a big problem for some clans, for they may kick people for not donating.

Wouldn't work for other clans. Why?

1. It doesn't allow for players who don't have those troops to donate

2. Those players donations will go down

3. The leader or elder might see them as inactive.

4. They get kicked.

If someone wants a dragon they shouldnt be getting ♥♥♥♥ troops anyways... Please elaborate your point

Also so they could only give you a certain level and up, because a town hall 10 in crystal league can't have 30 level 2 archers on defense :mad:
