Wow, ilovehayday, what a great idea! Thank you for arranging this.

The first question that springs to my mind is with regard to prizes for special events. Recently we have had fewer special decorations given for events like Valentine's day, but many people on the forum seem to enjoy them, and display them with pride. What is the process involved in producing such decorations; how time-consuming is it?

Hello Hay Day developers!

What importance do you place on retaining long-term players of Hay Day?

I've seen a lot of neighbors abandon the game because things started to feel too routine and, therefore, tedious. As with a lot of things in life, they lost interest. (But many did play for a year+, so well done on keeping them interested for as long as you did! )

Do you accept that the game has a natural end for most players and, therefore, focus mostly on entering new markets, acquiring new players, and engaging intermediate-level players?

Or is one of your goals to also retain high-level, long-term players? If yes, what are some of the ways you'll make this happen? Any plans for some stunning updates that might bring new challenges to high-level players?

But if long-term-player retention is a lower priority, is it because long-term players are less likely to buy premium currency or are there other reasons?

How high a priority do you place on retaining long-term players? Are they an important segment of your player base? Why or why not? And if they are, what are some of your plans to keep them engaged and playing Hay Day?

Do you have any solid plans to expand the town in the near future?

It's a vital part of the Hay Day experience for many players. But it feels tired, cumbersome and unloved.

So much can be done here, make visitors interact with the environment [sit on benches etc], town hall can be improved to sort by need [Idol, Waiting, Serving, Ready], improvements to personal train usage and much more.

Wow, Mod ilovehayday, did you read my mind? After reading the Devs Q&A organized by Mod LachNessMeownster (I giggle every time I read or type his name because of the pun) for other games, I was wondering if the same could be done for Hay Day. And now we have our answer. Good luck on this enterprise. :)

Here's my question for Team Hay Day: As artists and designers, how do you overcome game artist's block or game designer's block?

Here are my questions :
1. Are there any plans for a new feature (not new machines, land, deco etc) this year?

2. Will you ever consider implementing a new event ? (For eg- an event where each of your plot gives 4 crops instead of 2 , or a boat event where your boats come up once every 2 hours instead of 4 hours or some other unique event)

Only one question from my side and pretty much the reason why I quit hay day:-

Any plans on improving the end game other than just adding new products and machines?

Finally! As SCs other 3 games have been doing this for a while, I've been wondering if we farmers would get a chance too!

I would like like to know if new content is being planned other than new machines/trees/pets and what are you doing as far as the endgame is concerned to keeps us interested in this wonderful game!

I asked Nick a couple of times....

* You had amoozing plans with the sea back in 2014 as town started. Any chance those amoozing plans get to completion?

* I'd like to have a grow event. Would be something (yes, i'm keeping pushing) like a drag and drop something.
So you throw a certain amount of wheat in a trashbin, it will be recycled as fertilizer and 10 wheat will give 1 fertilizer. Fertilizer makes certain crops grow twice as fast. 1 fertilizer is enough for 10 squares. (i'm putting this as idea too :) ) Are there any thoughts about NEW events, not trucks, not boats, not visitors, not townees, not fishing (am i forgetting something?)

Vfrood - If your redesigned barn and silo idea sticks a Barbiefied pink and blue space-age hat maker-style monstrosity on my farm, I'm coming for ya, buddy -- LOL

All jokes aside, Here are my real comments and questions:

How is the decision to edit animations made, and what is involved? Is there any future plan to update game animations? For example: revert to old non-creepy/non-twerking Tom and cure puppies from farting and scooting.

Many players want fall-and winter-colored trees in the shop for sale. This seems like an easy thing to design, yet has not been implemented. Why are designed decos not offered in several colors? How do the designers choose colors for HayDay?

What are design limits of the game? What is possible and not possible, based on platform considerations, server capacity, bandwidth requirements, etc.

Hey Perky. Thanks for the reminder.

My question is: may we please have our "old school" machines back? I detest the Barbie kitchen designs. I do love my pink scooters. But those machines are awful. I am hoping the designer has outgrown their Barbie phase and we can get our choice of pink/blue machines or our old school design ones back.

Okay, we got the developer. And we are very good in creating depth in our scenes, but....
Is it possible you make it possible to go 3d? As in lowering/hovering landscape? So we can build our own 3D mountains/hills/holes :D

The town!!! I love(d) working the town. But then nothing new, and it takes a very long time to level up in the town. It would be nice to be able to pick up from our friends in our "friend book" too.

Also, I'd love to be able to "store" some of my animals - like at least 1 pen of goats and maybe sheep. That would give us extra space to decorate, since new land isn't in the near future.

New bunnies and new horses (Clydesdales?) to round out the habitats.

Is it possible to be able to "turn" items 1/4 turn with each click, so that I can have 2 benches facing each other (just 1 example).

I am looking forward to whatever the next update has for us, but hope to get a few of the above.

My questions are:

1. What will the nearby future (2017) bring for Hay Day? (features, improvements, etc)
2. Will there be new sorts of events (besides the already existing ones)?
3. Do you play Hay Day yourself, and what level are u?
4. Is there any plan on upgrading machines (like the town buildings).
5. What is your favorite non supercell game on PC, consold or mobile?

Two questions...

1) Will we ever see the day of trees and bushes that don't die? (or at least can always be watered)

2) Will we ever see a day where we can produce saws and axes?

Technically these questions contradict each other a bit but I think you get my jist... I think this has to be a top request for farmers for many years now.

1)Is it ever gonna be possible to visit other neighborhood player farms from player list?
2)What about global and local player tops, maybe even chats?
3)Are there any changes planned in the newspaper feature?
4)Will farm visitors ever learn that if I never give them tools, I will never ever give them any? :D
5)Reordering products in production building queue?

On harvesting crops , do we have an equal chance of getting BEMs ,SEMS , LEMS, Saws/Axes and mining tools? Or is the overall drop rate of BEMS higher than SEMS for some farms and lower for other farms ?

Can we expect few new base products (like eggs,milk,bacon)in the upcoming updates

Yep, really hope we get a town related question in there. It needs some lovin'!

Dear Developers,

when your intention is that the rss is open to everyone, and you are against trading in it (with friends, neighbours, etc), why can we delete followers at the same time? People usually follow a farm when there are good products displayed. So when we delete followers, it gives us the opportunity to stop them from buying at our rss. Why can we advertise our products globally with an extra checkmark or leave our products unadvertised, if everything we put there is open to everyone? That doesn't make sense. If I leave products in the rss unadvertised, I give my friends, followers and neighbours the preemption right to buy my stuff first.

So my question is: Why is the last helpers' access to our farms two weeks? Why can't it be lowered to 24 hours? If I help someone who is neither my friend or my follower, why do you open a loophole to give this person such a long term access to my farm and rss when I can't see or find this person at the same time? It's a one-sided advantage for the people you helped out with something. It would encourage more people to help others who aren't friends, neighbours or followers, if the duration of the last helpers tab would be lowered to 24 hours. Thank you.

Now that Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey are soon to be defunct, won't you reconsider the circus? You already have it mapped out and such. It could roll up to the farm just like the Wheel of MisFortune does, or come by train to the town. It'd be a great weekly event!
