TH11 on TH10

I am a maxed offense TH11 including royals at the number 1 spot in wars. Our clan has a few other TH11s and we are slightly above average in using our attacks. Having said that we are failing to consistently 3 star Max TH10s with decent layouts using on average lvl35 heros n lvl15 warden plus max troops.

My question to our forumners is what's your goto combo to get the job done? I tend to favor bowler healers and laloon but I can't do the dips as I need to focus on the max TH11 ring bases which are a challenge for my clan mates. Do the miners and valks even feature in your combos? I don't know about everyone else but I tend to get stressed out and frustrated when I see the struggles of our TH11s on dips.

TH8 max we clear with drags, hogs or loons easily. TH9 max we clear with quadlaloon or govaho easily. TH10s dips are rarely necessary but laloon or valks5 pretty much unstoppable. TH10 max are pretty much 2 stars unless base is poorly designed. TH11s I aim for 2 stars as well cuz there pretty much won't be anyone able to cover me.

Please share your thoughts on this subject and maybe the gurus among us can enlighten everyone on how best to deal with max TH10s on dips most efficiently.

Yes th11 is a 2 star game mostly so aiming for 2 stars there is normal

Tbh i cant remeber the last time i didnt 3 star a th10, not being big headed but its just really easy!

Either bowlers or laloon like you said, 2 hound and 35 loons is good as when you rage and hit wardens ability they loons cover the base quick so no need for more hounds imo

With bowlers i do 22 bowlers and 6 healers, 2 jump 2 freeze 2 rage, i do this more if it has an anti air base which a few bases are coming onto now, last war i had to hit 2 max th10s, both had anti air bases, hit with bowlers and my king is down, 3 stared both with plenty of troops left over

Dont over think it, you dont need queen walks or elaborate plans, these troops with warden is plenty!

I like gowiva or giwiva.
1eq, 1 jump 1 heal 1 or 2 rage, 1 or 2 freeze.
Funnel with a couple of giants, wiz and a baby on each side. Then basically let everything loose. Don't leave GW ability too late, it can prevent massive damage early on when lots of troops are getting attacked at once. If the first IT is close, just rage through as freeze will only stop it for a second before it goes down.

Ok that sounds like great advice. The queen walks followed by bowler healers are more complicated than what you suggest JonnyVW. Basically bowlers with 3 healers on both flanks followed by cc giants plus heros down the center right. Sometimes the Max TH10 layouts are kinds tricky though with ferno islands miles apart.

We will find out this war cuz I really wanna see all those TH10s cleared so we can work on the TH11s. Have been thinking that the max miners could work well with the bowlers on the tricky ring bases. Anyone tried it?

You want 2 healers either side with 6 bowlers a side, then 2 healers in the middle, its okay as just use 1 freeze early and hold the other for spread out infurnos no big deal

Miner suck, dont use them, trust me!

Appreciate your input Nzdiver. Our TH11s used those attacks cuz it was a reliable 2 star when they used the valks at TH10s and easy 3 for dips on max TH9s. But as TH11 that combo cannot reliably 3 star the max TH10s as the valks push way ahead of the Grand Warden wasting the aura n are all over the place when the tome is activated. Either that or they are doing wrong compared to the pros!

Bowlers or laloon usually works well on a th 10. Alternatively go heavy on tanks and jumps. With th 11 troops you have enough firepower to just roll through a maxed th 10 without using a lot of spells, so use 2-3 jumps to set up a path that covers most of the base, and just stomp through with golems/giants and bowlers/valks. Good funneling IS still required.

It's close to impossible. Th10 and above is a two star game a very boring one. This is why I'm continuously pushing for more troop buffs

I regularly 3* max TH10s in Titan with laloonion with my GW down so if you have all 3 heroes available, it really shouldn't be too hard

With the present of warden and the absent of eagle on th 10. Th 11 should not have a hard time to 3 th 10, but i admit there are much tough th 10 base out there that make the attacker think twice.

Doubt when scouting usually make the attacker too hesitate and make a too complicated plan that is not their forte, stick on your forte and focus on funelling to get down 2 inferno is more than halfway to get 3 star.
The key is always on inferno, i have a friend that oftenly use 3 zap and 1 quake to take out a inferno, at the beginning i think she will fail to 3 because short of spell left but she made it 3 everytime

There are many combo to go, queen walk is the most powerful one consider th 11 have six regular spell. Mass bowler healer still good but not with mass valk or mass miners.

Miners work better on heavy queen walk, i mean heavy qw is when you walk extremely and heavily with that 4 spell pair with warden and left 2 spell to miners to clear the rest but careful the limit, couple mini baby and arc should handle the limit.

But if you looking on easy way, lavalon is the fastest and simple way, composition os differ on everyone, all you need is deploying speed and a proper spell placement.
