I think Hay Day is very different from other SC games, and I would think so are many of the players, even if some may play several of these games. Many here are nice and friendly elder people, who may have no or little experience with social media and their obvious downsides. It’s very likely that they will be hurt by malicious or discriminating down-votes.The mods should acknowledge the particularity of this ‘small’ community and help to protect it against any kind of harassment.

As many players, including myself, already posted, there is no need or wish for such a voting system here. If other SC forums have greater problems, they should be resolved there!

And I suspect many of the HD community do. This thread, while significant, only has posts from a relatively small portion of the HD forum members.

That's very dismissive of you, sure not every HD member will post here - and never will, but the ones that have are generally the more active users of the HD forum.

This is the crux of the matter - it is extremely subjective. What others may see as a perfectly harmless post, can irritate someone who, for whatever reason, is having a bad day and they can take their bad mood out on the poster. Hay Day is supposed to be about spreading the love, not giving someone an easy way of doing the opposite.

The HD forum does not need this system.
