So now we have people gaming the system in order to be able to up vote the posters they really want to up vote, and people gaming the system in order to make their up and down votes count. Fake posts and alternative votes abound. Hay Day is right on trend.

No offense to anyone doing that - just pointing out how nonsensical it all is, just to save the mods a bit of work.

I contacted a Mod and this was the kind reply:

"Okay, so I see what the issue is. Hiding rep level is not yet enabled for members during the trial. Just for mods and staff. We're trying to decide what to have/what not to have, what works/what doesn't work. Let me know why you'd want to hide it."

What's funny is there are already 19 forum rules we need to abide by on this forum. There's a newly created 20th rule just to warn people not to abuse the system that isn't necessary in the first place. Mind blown.

I guess I'd want to hide it because:
I don't know why I'd want to show it
I don't know why someone is looking at it
If it's a high score or full of nice compliments, I'd feel like a pea♥♥♥♥ showing off
If it's a low score....maybe I feel like a loser

I went to look at other people's Reputation pages and felt uncomfortable about it - a bit like reading private communications between them, I felt. Not doing it again.

Gosh... I was not asking you, Mod was asking me :)

But on that note, I am not sure, but I wanted to know how to do it, you know how a "Wet Paint" sign makes you want to touch the paint and how a big red button which says "Don't Push Me" makes you want to push it?
