Introducing: The Forum Reputation System

I will make a case for keeping this system out of off-topic (if it isn't abandoned all together).

This forum is for Clash of Clans. Reputation should be earned for game knowledge and not quick witted comments in a sub-forum not related to the game.

Lol, the next fresh spawn to pop up and say "Nerf loons - they are so OP" is going to be at -1000 rep by the time they log back in to look for replies!

Just noticed, the positive reviews are also anonymous. Does anyone else think the positives shouldn't be anonymous?

In my opinion that isn't down votable. The next comment saying "this thread again" is. The OP was a point of view. The second was a derision.

Edit. But I have faith in this forum that the second would get kudos.

I think they should remain anonymous so it stops a certain type of new forum "police". Im assuming its not anonymous to the mods so they can look for violations of rule 20

An odd situation for a forum discussing a mobile game. There have been multiple times where I could only see something by switching to the full version (last instance I recall was a thread referenced someone's sig; not visible on mobile). Agreed, quite odd. I was hoping one of the forum war lords would be able to answer if it would be deployed on the mobile site as well or if its even possible to make it available on the mobile site. It seems like it could be available because the report button is similar in function but im not with those types of skills :)

all an should be anonymous. It will make it so you at least have to tell someone to get them to give you a pay back.

I disagree, the rep system is to show how reputable forumers are, not to show their knowledge on the game. It shows how good the forumers posts may be, not how much knowledge of the game it contains.

The people who your lookng for for the above are GASPs, not forumers with high rep.

I seem to remember a moderators response to this earlier as kind of a surprise to him. (Maybe loch?) Id bet if it goes live in 60 days we'll get it too. Im not switching to desktop for all that.
