I misunderstood what you meant. Yeah, there should be a limit per topic or maybe a limit one person can give to another one.

It feels like a little bit of censorship. You can censor opinions you don't like by bringing down people's reputation, as people won't take their posts as seriously if their reputation is low. If you bring it down far enough, they can't even retaliate.

+1. But you'd have to coordinate with lots of other people.

I feel it unfair that people who visit on the mobile site don't get access to the reputation system yet are still judged against it. If they have never used the full site and don't know about the reputation system then they are at a disadvantage.

Another way to check the point: when you try to give your own post a reputation point, can you see how many you have?

As for General Settings: since you can't hide it, it won't appear in your settings.

You bring up a great point, but it wouldn't be to hard to do as a clan or within a small group of friends. Multiple downvotes a day would seriously harm a person's reputation seriously within a few weeks.

The reputation tab won't be visible until you've received some.
