This is what I was worried about.

Let's be honest, if someone can pull that off, then they deserve to upvote themself:smirk:
You have it the other way around Holps. We at OT/FG are the big children. We're just so bright that everyone else gets blinded as they pass
@Bresn I do like the idea of OT Rep but I don't really think we need it since everyone already knows what a worthy post is. My main reason would have to be reading Snooks' narratives so I have a legitimate reason to vote then down for torturing souls:smirk:
Woke up & realized I got put in a popularity contest without my permission😂
Seriously though It'll never work. Haters will always Hate & people will always be willing to do anything for a like. Just like Global I can see people private messaging each other "lets all down vote so & so post"
Was wondering what the green dot was, seems like it shows promise.
Please reply to the above query of mine
Thanks.
I hope this system encourages people to be less toxic. Let's hope that the select few players that troll this forum finally can either stop trolling or their reputation will show that they don't make good contributions. I do think later down rhe road there needs to be a maximum negative value.
I'm mostly on mobile, so unless this is implemented on mobile, I probably won't pay any attention to it. Which is fine, because it doesn't seem like a big deal.
You will not be banned for downvotes. The reputation system is different from the reporting system. One gives or takes rep the other, if enough violations are found, results in a ban.
If you go into sub 10 rep points then the only sanction is not being able to vote on others rep:
"Members must have 10 reputation points to be able to affect other people's reputation. In other words - if you have -200 reputation points, you would have to earn back 210 points before you could vote on anyone"
